  1. OK ITS BEEN A DAY AND NOW MY SPEED TEST SAYS THIS I THINK COMCAST WAS SMOKING A BLUNT LAST NIGHT
  2. pubg corp and playerunknown should've just ported pubg on the nintendo switch and called it a day
  3. To be clear, I live in a kind of rich home but I don't use fancy-grade WiFi or some crap on my modem, I think we just use regular ol' DSL and crap. I think I just know the solution, my router is just too old to be a router. Again, I'll convince my parents to get something more powerful from something like Asus or TP-LINK. Thanks for the help tough!
  4. Ok so the internet went back up 4 min after its down. is xfinity dying out or some crap??!?!?!?!!
  5. I’m now sending this message on my phone through cellular but my WiFi took a crap, claims it’s connected but it’s down. Am I getting DDoSd???? I’m scared and I need help
  6. I used wired once on my PC when my mom was renovating my room (because the wifi router is in my moms bedroom and i had to move my pc there temporarly till they we're done painting) and I didn't do a speed test, but I could predict it was a tiny bit better than what I got. Using Speedtest.net, I am connected to Xfinity to the Arkansas State Universty's servers in Jonesboro, AR. The ping is 36 MS , Download at 4.11 MBPS, and Upload at 5.70 MBPS. I feel like thats a little better but idk. I have 2 modems. One is a AT&T one for my U-verse box, and a Netgear one for the main WiFi modem. I don't know the specific model, but that's all I know. Edit: The NETGEAR modem we just got 5 months ago, soooo yeah
  7. Since there is a ".ms" domain now and the Steamed Hams meme is becoming popular, i've been considering doing a website dedicated to this meme. The website might be called steamedha.ms and the website will be based on the Pomf uploader, used by many websites like Mixtape Uploader and others. I suck at HTML programming and I don't have the money to own a server for file hosting, but I just thought of a cool idea. If anybody has any other ideas for file uploading sites that is instant and goes up to 700MB or such, suggest me.
  8. This could be it lol. I'll try to convince my parents to upgrade their router. Thanks!
  9. So my WiFi as of late has been becoming a pain in the crap to work with. Websites load very slow and audio on SoundCloud and Clypt refuse to play. I want to know what is wrong? According to the Google speed test it said I had 0.46 (before) / 0.23 (after) Mbps download, 1.71 (before) / 2.73 (after) Mbps upload, and a latency of 81 (before) / 62 (after) MS. I live in Memphis and my WiFi server is in Atlanta, GA. My PC's WiFi card is a NETGEAR AC1200 USB card, and my router is a Apple Airport Extreme from 2008. My WiFi carrier is Verison and my PC doesn't have any crappy files that is messing with the WiFi. Even better, my PC is right next to the room where the WiFi is, and nothing is interfering with it. What should I do? Please give a kind of simple answer because i'm only 16 and I can't do very complex crap (like talking to ISPs on phones and crap like that)
  10. Ok thanks. So it's just the coils inside doing it's thing. Thanks, I was worried for a bit. If crap hits harder then I'll try to contact Cooler Master, or buy a new PSU.
  11. So I have my gaming PC for over a year now and recently the PSU started to make a quiet buzzing noise which scared me, which meant it might blow up. It's not the fan but the capacitors or something ready to explode and i'm afraid. Can you guys help me out on how to fix it? PSU is Cooler Master V550 80+ Gold 550W PSU
  12. The upload speeds are the same at home, pretty good ping, and about 50MB per second on upload and download Yes my PC is usable if its not a server No corrupt files The wifi card is not busted and I can't go hardwired because the router at my dad's is in the living room and my server PC is upstairs in my room
  13. I'm hosting a game server for games like Garry's Mod and CS:GO but my server PC crashes alot. It's at my dad's house and it keeps on freezing frequently every 10 hours after startup. I control my computer using VNCServer and all that my PC runs is VNCServer and the server console, with explorer.exe closed. Is it because the hard drive sucks or something? Is it because i'm getting DDOS'd? Server PC Specs: CPU: AMD FX-8320E 8-Core CPU RAM: 16GB DDR3 Crucial Ballistix Sport HDD: 1TB WD Green 7200RPM Drive GPU: Geforce GTX 750TI OS: Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit Server is hosted through WiFi, no hardwired connections, router is a refurbished ASUS router This also explains the AC1200 WiFi driver help post I made yesterday, I was repairing my PC because I replaced the old WD Green 1TB with a new one (because that one was crashing, but that had Windows 10 on it) to avoid it from crashing, but nothing is helping, it still crashes, even if a lot of apps/background tasks are closed and stuff. Maybe HDDs suck for server computing?
