  1. both are def in. forgot to mention, if I run furmark then a DX11 program the DX11 program will not crash. Soon as I close furmark the DX11 will act like what I said in my first post.
  2. Zotac 2070 super twin fan 5600xt gaming edge wifi B550 650watt seasonic FX focus plus Also tried in multiple machines/monitors/cables Tried multiple drivers This happens even with a clean install of windows(tried 2 times on 2 different computers. DDU doesn't work Tried flashing the bios of the GPU When I launch any DX11 game haven't tried DX12, the GPU will boost to its max then drop to 375 and freeze. Then, it'll unfreeze and boost again. Repeat until it crashes. So, it's go, freeze, go with more of the freeze then crash. If I run any openGL program the is no crashing at all and no freezing. Not 100% positive on performance but there is no crashing. I'm extremely confused on this one. Can a GPU be broken for one api and not others?
  3. idk by logic of this thread it shouldn't be FX
  4. My choices are, because of my cable mods cables https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/VfM323 https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/kjZzK8 https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/DRVG3C/asus-rog-strix-650-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-rog-strix-650g I didn't see any mention of monitoring software for the asus. I'm assuming you have it as either or. However, I don't see digital circuit documented anywhere. The prime gold is $17 cheaper than the PX platinum. I'm leaning towards the prime gold unless there is a reason to get the asus or the seasonic GX plat. There is phanteks, but i'm not paying $30 shipping.
  5. Only the FM and FX models are listed in D+ I do not see 2017 PX
  6. What is the difference? Both are PX models. Are they the same just labeled differently? https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/dCs8TW/seasonic-focus-plus-platinum-750w-80-platinum-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-ssr-750px https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/kjZzK8/seasonic-focus-750-w-80-platinum-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-focus-px-750
  7. Ordered on February 12, 2019 Seasonic Focus Plus Series SSR-650FX 650W zero issues with a 3700x and 2070 super Edit: I'm using cable mod cables.
  8. Now it says dual channel. I did change the version of cpu id. Weird.
  9. Windows task manager and cpu-z state 4 slots. I'll post it soon as I get to my laptop.
  10. I found nothing so far. One person that said tear down and didn't even take the motherboard out.
  11. The i5 8300h should be able to have dual channel. When I opened up the laptop there is only 2 memory banks showing. When I check task manager, it states there is 4. I'm guessing they are on the back but don't want to do all the work without knowing if there is 2 others are on the other side and which slot to put it in to make it dual channel. With 2 sticks in the banks showing it's putting it as single channel. Does anyone have a tear apart guide for this laptop?
  12. 1080p right now she's getting a 1440p monitor later. She can upgrade the ryzen later hopefully, if amd doesn't change backwards compatibility.
  13. That's why told her not to buy it. I found a person on reddit that said they goofed on the specs. I phoned CyberpowerPC and they confirmed it. It's been over a week now. It's not listed but if you have the direct link it still shows the incorrect spec. $1,778.90 PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor $164.99 @ Amazon CPU Cooler CRYORIG - H7 49 CFM CPU Cooler Motherboard MSI - B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard $106.30 @ OutletPC Memory G.Skill - Trident Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory $124.99 @ Newegg Storage Samsung - 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $71.00 @ Amazon Storage Seagate - Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $59.89 @ OutletPC Video Card Zotac - GeForce RTX 2080 8 GB GAMING AMP Video Card $729.99 @ Newegg Case NZXT - H500 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case $69.99 @ B&H Power Supply SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply $79.99 @ Newegg Operating System Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit $98.89 @ OutletPC Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1556.03 Mail-in rebates -$50.00 Total $1506.03 Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-12-21 17:14 EST-0500 PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor $369.89 @ Amazon CPU Cooler CRYORIG - H7 49 CFM CPU Cooler Motherboard ASRock - Z390 Pro4 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard $99.99 @ Newegg Memory G.Skill - Trident Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory $124.99 @ Newegg Storage Samsung - 860 Evo 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $71.00 @ Amazon Storage Seagate - Barracuda 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $59.89 @ OutletPC Video Card MSI - GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB Video Card $504.99 @ B&H Case NZXT - H500 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case $69.99 @ B&H Power Supply SeaSonic - FOCUS Plus Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply $79.99 @ Newegg Operating System Microsoft - Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit $98.89 @ OutletPC Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1524.62 Mail-in rebates -$45.00 Total $1479.62 Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-12-21 17:19 EST-0500 $1,708.90
