  1. Hi there, I have an led light strip plugged into my computer and I use it to light my face during livestreaming/recording. I would really like it if there was a way I could turn the light on and off without just unplugging it. There's not an on/off switch on the strip so I was hoping there was either something in Windows or an external app that could control a specific USB port. If you know of anything like that or possibly can think of another solution that'd be great! Thanks!
  2. As you can see in the picture above, my desktop icons occasionally will get these weird box when I hover over them. This only started once I got a second monitor. When I restart my computer, it goes away. Anyone have idea of what might cause this. It's not really a big deal but annoying and disconcerting.
  3. 9.9I found an old DVD player in my parents house and was going to try to use it when I realized it didn't end in a normal USB cable. It looks almost like 2 USB ports connected but it might not be related. Does anyone know what the heck this is?
  4. Hi, I've discovered an issue with Overwatch and/or my GPU. I have a 1070 ti and maxed out the settings. I have a 144hz 1080p monitor. When running Overwatch, the GPU is only at about 30% usage. I get about 100-125 FPS. I played around with some clock settings with no luck. Looked around online and found an issue but it only seemed to effect those with Windows 8 but I have Windows 10. Some other odd things: the Asus monitoring software shows the clock speed at where I set the overclock for. In Task Manager, the 30% usage isn't tied to Overwatch, instead it's under Windows Desktop Manager. With other games, the GPU runs at 100% easily. I also have experienced weird issues with task manager and my mouse concerning Overwatch. For example, if I tab-out of the game to look at Task Manager, I have difficulty moving the mouse, it's like its stuck in the middle of the screen. I feel like I could be getting way better FPS. How do I get my GPU to run at 100%? Thanks
  5. I work at Bed, Bath, and Beyond and we play such repetitive music. I can't stand it anymore! Anyone know the best ways to deal with having to listen to such crappy music?
  6. I am looking to upgrade to air flow in my computer. However i want to make sure I have the best set up of the case fans. To do this, I want to know the cfm of the fans that come with my case. Thanks
  7. My brother has been using Google Play to listen to music however it has been skipping. But there's some weird. (Edit: By skipping I mean the music is stuttering, going slow, static. It is unlistenable) It works fine with bluetooth or just the phone's speaker but any headphones will skip. It does not skip with any listening method when the phone is unlocked. It does not skip with any method with youtube, spotify, or pandora. I'm stumped, any ideas?
  8. Thank you! I will look into it
  9. Thanks, I might try it with my current mouse
  10. I always feel out of control with this method. But thank you. Maybe I'll try it more
  11. Hi, I'm looking for a mouse that can scroll sideways. I like that the apple mice can scroll sideways however I don't love those mice and also have a PC. Is there any mice that have a similar scroll ball or anything that can scroll left and right too? I'm tired of pressing shift.
  12. UPDATE I found that the message went away after uninstalling an outdated driver for a drawing tablet I had.
  13. Thanks I will look into some of that stuff!
  14. It's vague. I should've thought to screenshot it this morning but it just says Read ini File Error Error Okay
  15. So recently, whenever I booted my computer, I have a message that says Read ini File Error. All I can do is select okay. I haven't noticed any issues other than this message. Does anyone know what this could be?
