I want to upgrade my current setup and i really need some advice. Im planning to get a 27 inch 144hz monitor and an nvidia card.
Current specs:
proc: Intel Core i5-4690 Haswell Quad-Core 3.5 GHz LGA 1150
mobo: Asus - H97-PRO GAMER
mem: 8gb dual DDR3 1600
gpu: gtx 760 zotac
ssd: 128 samsung 750 evo
hdd: 2tb wd
psu: 650 Gold Semi Modular
casing: NZXT H440
Here are my options:
1st option:
get a 27inch, 2560 x 1440p, 144hz or 165hz + gsync + tn panel monitor + just gtx 1080 and upgrade my memory to 16gb running at ddr3 1600. My question with one is will i have bottleneck or other issues?
2nd option:
get a 27inch, 1920 x 1080p, 144hz + freesync + tn panel monitor + just gtx 1080 and also just upgrade my memory to 16gb running at ddr3 1600. Same question as above.
3rd option:
Scrap the 144hz monitor and just get an 27inch IPS monitor running at 60hz then build a completely new setup?
