  1. I would really love some input.
  3. Hi there, With Coffee Lake now out I decided it's time to upgrade my i5-2500k setup. I'm planning on swapping my mobo/cpu/ram(obviously) and getting a new case and an AIO for the CPU. The parts I've picked out so far: Mobo: Asus ROG Strix Z370-F CPU: i5-8600k Ram: 16GB of something (not sure about ram as i'm waiting for the prices to settle down.) Case: bequiet Dark Base Pro 900 AIO: bequiet Silent Loop 280 Off to questions then: Not sure if i should go for the i5-8600k or the i7-8700k. I'm gonna be gaming like 90% of the time so I know the i5 is probably better price wise. But I'm curious if the i7 will handle everyday use like heavy browsing and etc better? I might also stream but it's not a priority. Will the 8600k clock better than the 8700k? As in, is it gonna generate less heat than the i7 because of the lack of hyper threading. In most games a higher clocked 6 core CPU will be better than a lower clocked 6 core with hyper threading. Is the Silent Loop 280 a good AIO? I've been rummaging thru reviews and benchmarks and at this point i'm not sure which 280 is optimal. I'm planning to overclock the CPU to it's limits so I want the best cooling for it that's not a custom loop(no money) but I'm planning to do a full loop eventually so an AIO rad that can be expanded upon would be great. Will higher clocked RAM be better for overclocking? As in higher than 3000mhz and any ram suggestions in general? I initially picked out the Z370-F as it had the best(imo) mix of RGB and overclocking capabilities, I've since dropped my desire for RGB(at least it's not a goal anymore) and I'm open for suggestions about good overclocking mobos as the z370-f has a crappy I/O in my opinion. I'm thinking about the Maximus Hero but I'm not sure if i want to drop more money into this. Overall I'm open for any comments and suggestions as I'll be buying this pc after the holidays probably so I have a month to figure out everything. The price range preferably shouldn't be a lot higher than the current parts listed but i'm open to discussion if you think something is worth the money. Current parts I'm going to keep are a Gigabyte 970 G1 Gaming, Fractal Design Edison M 750W and my drives. I'm from Bulgaria so there might be some parts that aren't available here. Thanks
