  1. i just switched back to nth1 between die and ihs but kept thermal grizzly between ihs and heat sink and i dropped ~12c running cinebench so i do think some pastes are exclusively better on the die than on other things because of the dies surface also i made sure i used the exact same application method all of my 4 tests today (3 only thermal grizzly, now nth1 on die and thermal grizzly on ihs)
  2. ive tried many times and each time i get the exact same result
  3. on my gpu Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut brought down temperatures by 3c compared to nt-h1 but on my cpu die (im delidded) nt-h1 works 10c better than thermal grizzly, Im assuming this is because of different surface material of the cpu compared to the gpu. So my question is what would be the best thermal paste to apply to my cpu die because it seems to behave differently than other surfaces you normally apply thermal paste to.
  4. Is it better to get the cheaper one from hyperx or a more expensive one from a different company? my current on board audio is ALC892 and I feel like the quality could be better.
  5. i can't install vs2017 because of this error http://prntscr.com/j109i0 it downloads then when its verifying it justs redownloads it again 10 times before it gives the error vs2015 installs just fine
  6. The alphas have an impedance of 65 so im wondering if my asus z170-a onboard audio will be exactly the same or worse than a ~$50 soundcard preferably external
  7. my max budget is $100 but im looking for around $75, i just need a mic that doesn't pick up background noise cardioid i think its called? and mic arm that can grip to a 1 inch thick table preferably with a black or silver/metal paint job
  8. its does not have to come with it, i ment my question as i need a mic and an arm that works with it to buy
  9. Just needs to be good quality and be able to attach to a 1 inch or thinner desk, $100 max budget
  10. its coming from inside the power supply and consistently depending on what the gpu and cpu is doing
  11. i have a 6700k and 1080 ti overclocked and a evga 650w g2 power supply and in some certain situations it makes a clicking noise, for example if im playing gta 5 and scrolling on a website in steam overlay it makes a light clicking sound and when starting superposition benchmark it makes a heavy clicking sound which is weird because it doesn't when starting games or other programs.
  12. ryzen 1800x 1080 ti ftw3 8x2gb ram m.2 1tb ssd will heavily overclock cpu and gpu
