  1. Hi all, I'm very sorry to make my first post on these forums a request. I'd much rather be showing pictures of my rig in the new build/modding section. However I'm now at my wits end trying to fix this myself. I've recently completed my first Ryzen build and my first upgrade in over 6 years. Everything seems to have come together nicely except for a problem with my ram frequency not reaching anywhere near stated specs. Firstly, I know there are still some issues with Ryzen and memory speed. However, in my case, the 2x8GB 3200mhz Vengeance sticks I've bought won't even go further than 1600mhz. I've been through all the Asus DOCP presets and 1600 was the highest I could get it to go. Using the bios standard presets it only hits 1064! I've updated my bios to the most recent version, I've tried Slots 2&4, 1&3 and back to 2&4 as recommended by my mobo manual. I've tried adjusting the timings myself a few times. I've tried timings like, 14,14,14,14,36, 14,14,14,14,34 with voltage at 1.35, even though I have no idea what I'm actually doing. Tried Changing from 1T to 2T, but it still shows up as 1T in Windows, not that I know what that is either. No matter what I do I can't get higher than 1600mhz. The specific ram I've bought is the Corsair Vengeance Blue LED 16GB DDR4 3200 CMU16GX4M2C3200C16B. I'm aware now that I should have looked for ram that was C14 for Ryzen, but I didn't realize this at the time. I just googled Corsair Vengeance Compatible with Ryzen. The first result was Corsairs Ryzen ready list telling me the exact ram I was purchasing was compatible. I didn't even realize I had to worry about motherboard compatibility as well. Despite this, surely I should be able to hit speeds higher than 1600mhz? So, now that I've steadily lost my mind over the last 12 hours trying to fix a problem myself that I know very little about... Any help or advice provided on this matter would be fantastic... The Attached images are based on standard/Auto bios presets. Please let me know what you need and I'll post them up.
