plugging in a 4th monitor disables my 1st monitor
BaconStorm replied to BaconStorm's topic in Troubleshooting
yes, all four show up in windows, but Nvidia control panel will only show 3 at a time. Is there more to setting them up in windows beyond it detecting them? -

its the EVGA GTX 1080 SC model number: 08G-P4-6183-KR The evga product spec sheet claims it supports 4 monitors: https://www.evga.com/products/specs/gpu.aspx?pn=AB7B6447-6329-4361-8AB7-4AD62EA6A2AF -
plugging in a 4th monitor disables my 1st monitor

wouldn't that mean it only supports 3 monitors unlike the specs suggest? -

Hello, the issue I am having is: when I plug in my 4th monitor my 1st monitor no longer gets video feed to it. as soon as I unplug the 4th monitor video feed returns to the 1st one. I am unsure of what is causing this, I have a GTX 1080 which should support 4 monitors. I tried installing an extra graphics card and plug the display cable for the 4th monitor into that one but the issue persisted. my OS is windows 10 home here are my monitor specs incase that helps: monitor 1: 1920x1080 144hz monitor 2: 2560x1440 60hz monitor 3: 1600x900 60hz monitor 4: 1440x900 60hz

Hello, I just set up a new system with an i9 9960x and an MSI x299 pro motherboard. I noticed in the bios it shows all 4 sticks of ram in the system, however the dram size is as if it was missing a stick of ram. This seems to have caused windows to think it only has 24GB of ram instead of 32GB. Any ideas how to fix this? Update:turn on XMP seemed to fix the issue, however the ram is now running at a faster speed the the CPU officially supports so I'm not sure how stable it will be. Thus if anyone has suggestions on how to get it to run without XMP on I would still be interested

Hi, I'm saving for college. I have $500 of spending money a month on non-essentials so I'm on a bit of a budget. I noticed the Razer phone 2 is on sale for $400 on Amazon, however based off the review Linus did, I'm not sure if it's worth it even at this price. I know the one plus 6t is $450-$500 and might be a better option. I've been considering the one plus 7t as it's releasing soon but it's almost out of my price range. What do y'all think is the best option, for a reference point i currently have a Moto g6 play and have had it 1.5 years. I am looking for something that will last a while, preferably through college, so 4-6 years depending on how much longer I save for.

I am able to remove the PTFE tube with ease, how would you recommend burning the pla out? One thing i noticed is it just seems to be stuck some how. I can push it forward just a tad and pull it back without any difficulty but then it gets stuck again- 7 replies

Hi, I have an Ender 3 and upgraded to the Micro Swiss all metal hot end. I did a test print that was successful and then tried to do another one, but shortly after starting the next print I found that it wasn't extruding, after trying to clean out the nozzle and that not helping I removed the nozzle to find out it wasn't reaching the nozzle, I have tried pulling and pushing the filament through and it won't work, it just seems to be stuck in the top part of the hotend, any advice?

Me and my friend applied for a job with a few openings and have both decided if we get it we are going to build new gaming PCs. this has become somewhat of a commotion all ready in choosing the best components. I will likely do a custom water cooling loop because i think it would be fun. I want to know what the best z390 mb for overclocking the i9-9900k is so I can outperform him (he is also getting a i9-9900k). Money is not a problem.
