I have a phanteks P300 case I wanted to mount it to the wall but I cannot find any good brackets to mount it to the wall. Should I just get a regular shelf and throw it on there?

So currently I have 2 spare cpu’s which has brought me to a fork in the road based on the spare hardware I have. I plan to just run discord, music, and stream from this pc I already have a spare psu and hdd I’m going to use. Also a spare zotac 1050 I’m going to use. route 1: I have a spare i5-4590 which I have a motherboard for already. GIGABYTE GA-H81M-H LGA 1150. I also have a 2 spare ddr3 dimms but unfortunately they are mismatching dimms one is 4 gb one is 8 gb. I only have an old oem cooler for this one so I’d have to get one. route 2: Spare Ryzen 3 1200. I do have a cooler for this guy, but I have no mobo or spare ddr4 dims. Plan to use this case: MasterBox Q300L mATX Case w/ Magnetic Design Dust Filter, Transparent Acrylic Side Panel, Air Flow Performance by Cooler Master http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=11-119-331&ignorebbr=true What do you guys think?

I’m still using a 1070 @ 1440p 165hz and it has no problem with any games I play (apex right now). I would look for a used one.

Awesome thanks for the insight -
Different (2x8) ram kits compatibility.

So if they are both the same frequency and timings I should be good to go without lowering either right? -
I've been using G.Skill ripjaws memory 3200 cl 16 (2x8). I've noticed lately when using obs and tabbing in and out of full-screen games (specifically apex as of late which seems to use moire ram than most games I play) my PC cannot transition very well which has led me to believe I just don't have enough memory for everything to be loaded. I am considering adding another (2x8) kit at the same speeds giving me (4x8) . Will I have compatibility issues doing this, not having the same stick even if they are the same speed and latency? I specifically had me eyes on the corsair rgb kit because I feel like like it will finish off my build nicely since I have a lot of corsair components. Might I just need to bite the bullet and get a full (4x8) kit?

I have been using the Turtle Beach Elite pro gen 1 with its mixamp for a few years now. I broke the headband on the top so it’s time for new headphones. I’ve been looking at both the Massdrop x HIFIMAN HE4XX Planar Magnetic Headphones and the beyerdynamic dt 990 pro. Does anyone have any recommendations for me concerning those? https://www.massdrop.com/buy/massdrop-x-hifiman-he4xx-planar-magnetic-headphones/talk#discussions https://www.guitarcenter.com/Beyerdynamic/DT-990-PRO-Open-Studio-Headphones-250-Ohms-1273887990776.gc?cntry=us&source=4WWRWXGP&gclid=Cj0KCQiAj4biBRC-ARIsAA4WaFgDtfUrd9mLueBqbjSE84YKP8Uum7-5itlLQa26hv-pYVJOUChCxpAaAo_mEALw_wcB

I was just thinking to encode video while I’m gaming instead of my 1070
-
I’m not trying to link them I was just thinking to encode while I’m gaming instead of having my 1070 do it to save a few frames

So I had a thought today when I saw a picture of another setup with 2 different gpu’s in it and it got me thinking. I currently use a 1070, but I have a spare 1050 and 660 sitting around. Would I save myself some frames by throwing the 660 in my machine and using it for my 2 side monitors (1080p 144hz and 1080p 60hz) and my monitor I game on (1440p 165hz) on my 1070. While also using the 660 to encode. I’m confident my psu can hold up. Good idea or not? Merry Xmas everyone

So I recently got a new 8700k (Still working out my oc as of right now at 5.1ghz stable so far) and I have been setting up obs to stream. I have been testing @ 720p 60 frames medium preset. Someone mentioned setting the affinity of the CPU to only ~8 threads depending on the CPU intensity of the game and allowing all cores on obs. Will this give me any kind of improvements? I couldn't find too many results about this on the web. Thanks for replies in advance

Currently I have a Turtle Beach Tactical Audio Controller. I was doing some research on various mixers when I remembered that I used to use my t.a.c. with ps4 and pc at the same time so I could hear discord call via the usb and the optical cable. I was wondering if the same would work for dual pc's (if I had a spare pc I would test it).

I just got a pack of the Corsair LL 120 mm fans but I’m only gonna use 2 of them, is it possible to replace the fan on the H60 and would that lower performance?
