  1. i live in 4th world country on a different planet and we have no 99% alcohol here the most we have is 70% as wipes because if any store will sell a percent higher they will go to jail Is using these 70% pure alcohol wipes safe enough to clean it off?
  2. Well it doesn't do a double boot when it is overclocked to 2400 ( the normal clock without XMP is 2133) and anything over does double boot which is whats wierd
  3. So first of all this is the RAM and motherboard: RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Intel Z170 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GTZKW Motherboard: ASRock AB350 Pro4 When I enable XMP the default value it automatically gives the RAM is the 3200mhz it is supposed to run at but whenever I set it anywhere above 2400 it does a "double boot" every cold start or a restart from the computer which probably means its unstable from what I understand? I can't change any voltages or setting manually in the bios so XMP is my only option here. Bios is updated to latest version of 4.2V and before it was on 3.3V with the same thing. I am running at 2400mhz right now without any problems, what could be the problem? I was hoping I will be able to at least run it closer to 3000 but running 3200mhz RAM at 2400 is a joke...
  4. Hello guys first of all this is the RAM and Motherboard I am using: RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Intel Z170 Platform Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GTZKW Motherboard: ASRock AB350 Pro4 So the problem is the RAM runs at 2133mhz without XMP and with XMP it runs at 3200, whenever XMP is on when I boot my computer it does a double boot (fans ramp up to 100% twice and on second time screen turns on), I have no option to manually overclock the RAM in the bios just XMP. When I do "save and restart" from the bios I only have one boot but when I restart my computer from windows or do a cold boot it still does a double boot. The overclocking does seem to work though, I have looked both at CPU-Z and task manager and in the bios themself and it all shows the RAM running at 3200mhz. Bios is updated to latest version 4.2V I just wonder is this double boot any dangerous or unstable? is it fine if I just keep it like this or is there a way to solve it? Hope for some advise guys I just built the computer 2 weeks ago and hoping this is not anything serious and maybe will just be solved in the following bios updates.
  5. So when I enable XMP my computer boots twice (Fans ramp up to 100% twice and on the second time it turns on)I have looked at CPU-Z and task manager and both show the RAM running at 3200mhz which is what it supposed to run at, RAM is the Trident Z 2x8GB 3200mhz Model F4-3200C16D-16GTZKWShould I worry that it boots twice? I have updated to latest version of ASROCK AB350 Pro4 bios V4.2, the only way it does one boot is if I turn XMP off but then the mhz is just 2133, I wanted to try to overclock it my self but I don't see any option like that in the OC tweaker in the bios I think you can only do XMP
  6. I've done everything besides step 3, I can't find that option anywhere and the problem is the same.
  7. Yes it double boots on every startup I really don't mind the double boot, I've checked CPU-Z and task manager and the RAM runs at 3200, I am only worried that the double boots harm my PC in any way
  8. It only happen with XMP enabled When XMP is disabled and my default speeds are set to 2133 there is no problems at all and boots instantly The RAM speed still runs at 3200mhz(or so it says in CPU-Z) after I enable XMP and the double boot happens
  9. So whenever I use XMP my windows does a "double boot" when I start it (fans ramp up and down to 100% twice and screen loads after the second time) I have Trident Z 3200mhz 2x8 RAM with ASROCK AB350 Pro4 and using the XMP default profile sets it to 3200 while the auto profile without XMP is only set at 2133 but has no double boot. I have looked via CPU-Z and the speeds look fine, with XMP it is about 1596 and without it is around 1060 from what I remember. I could use some help here guys, first time I am building a computer and doing this. I have no other overclocks and I don't plan on any I just want the RAM to run normally and I am not sure if this harms my computer in any way I mean I could probably keep it like this since CPU-Z says the speed is fine and on bios main page the speeds show at 3200mhz but I would like to solve this if there is a way and know if it harms my computer if I leave the XMP on and let the double boots continue. Thanks for help!
  10.
