    Desk

    Neon0711 posted a topic in Peripherals

    I have my build all picked out, but I have run into one problem, my desk. The desk I have now is way to small for what I will be upgrading to and I need a new one. I will be doing music production and gaming and so I am thinking an L shaped desk would be best because I have to fit a audio interface, a 49 key keyboard and my pc and gaming things, and a desk like that can fit both into one, while being separated. My monitor will be wall mounted so thy won't be An issue. Any other ideas, or brands would be greatly appreciated, I can't find what I'm looking for in IKEA, and I apologize if this is the wrong section, I just can't seem another appropriate topic to put this into, anything helps, thanks!

    Yeah that could be a good idea, defiently worth the price jump if its close to the 7700k

    Thanks for the backround, this also helps so much! I definetly see what your saying, but even if the 8700k price dropped, I don't think it would be by enough, and plus it's a christmas build and someone else is helping me pay for the parts by christmas, so I don't have that much time to wait. Thanks so much for the insight about that though, maybe if it does drop by enough then I could look at getting it!

    Hi, I am new at making PC's and I am looking at making my first build. Though it is a little overkill for a first build I have decided to use a i7, and recently on a forum page I had someone tell me that the Z270 chipset is outdated, but I think he is incorrect with this statement. Just to make sure I wanted some more opinions about this, feed back is much appreciated since I am just a noob, Thanks!
