I having problem when I open XMP in BIOS, the motherboard DRAM error light up and won't boot, when I clear CMOS, the system can normally boot. So here is what happened, I just build my pc yesterdays and I turn on the XMP profile, everything go well. Until I get a Bluetooth and I found this post : I try out the method mention in the post and the computer didn't boot (while all rgb on the ram and motherboard light up but keyboard, mouse didn't) So I open up the case and saw the DRAM error indicator light up and sometime the CPU error indicator flash for a moment, I suspect there are something go wrong with the ram stick after I try resit the ram in different position, it didn't work. So I clear CMOS, and the system can enter the BIOS this time, so I did the same thing again. Set the XMP on, and the DRAM error indicator light up, the system didn't boot. After I clear CMOS again, the system boot again. So I'm pretty sure it is the fault of XMP or bad ram(?) But then I confused, why can I run XMP for a whole day but after doing the replug of power cable (the reddit post), the ram can't even boot after enable XMP, or there are actually any other reason causing this? anyone facing the same problems or know how to solve this? Please Help.... So I recently trying to watch some video stored in my hard drive locally, but I found that the file can't be recognized If I right click and see the property of these video files, it shows the file size as 0B, also when I try to delete, rename, copy or move these to other location windows tell me "this file isn't exists anymore" (I translated it by myself, my system language isn't english) I was thought these file was corrupted or there is bad sector in the HDD, but I didn't find one in the disk scan(Done by HD Tune) But interestingly, I can still watch the video normally through SMB from my android phone and ipad??? (And I can copy those file) Anyone know that's wrong with these file? I have backup of those video so it is not a problems to wipe it but I really wonder why and is there any way to fix it, also prevent it to happen again I have never seen this situation before....

you talking about B360 pro carbon or B450 pro carbon I can't find any MB call B450 Gaming PRO CARBON here???

The one I'm using is i5 4460 with 8GB ram so upgrade to r5 2600 will get a quite a huge performance increase I guess ...

with a limited budget 16GB is a little bit difficult to go with

Recently I want to upgrade the CPU, MB and Memory for Gaming and Media editing work since I will open multi game in same times I will go for R5 2600 instead of i5 8400 but is it really a good timing to upgrade? That's confuse Since 1060 seems still good for another few year, I won't buy a new GPU If I got limited budget which around 380USD / 3000HKD Which MB and Memory will you guys recommend? MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC(1060HKD/135USD) or ASUS ROG STRIX -F GAMING(1165HKD/148USD) or other? Recently, I decided to help someone to change his store to a more tech-involved one. So I'm finding a software that can do the following things: 1.Calculate and record inventory 2.Sales record 3.Output sales reports(no need to be too detail, include profit and some other basic information is ok ) While he know nothing about using excel, will that still be a suitable software for him to use? And all these action (I mentioned) will do everyday instead of once a month. Before this, he use paper to record how many he sale, which items he sale these kind of information, it was difficult to search or calculate specific type of item. So, will excel be the best choice for him or not?

still not figure why the error still appeare, I create a new partition in format of fat32 and edit its flag as boot, and a space in linux-swap of 6GB, also a partition of all left space as ext4. What should I do to install then. I chose the ext4 as "/" , linux-swap as swap, and do nothing about the boot fat32 space, then I press install, I chose to install at my external hard drive, then error again many time, I have been try for many time. Is there any setting I should be follow or something I missed. Please Help, I have no idea what the passage on internet talking about.
