  1. I ran intelburntest on very high and it got to about 85 degrees at times about 90 but mostly around 85
  2. Hey, I was just wondering if my cpu is running too hot, I've OC'd my i5-2500k from 3.3Ghz to 4.3Ghz and as of right now while im just watching movies or browsing the internet my temps are as follows: Tj.Max is at 98C. Core #0: 40C - 44C Core #1: 39C - 42C Core #2: 36C - 40C Core #3: 40C - 45C I have a Cooler Master Hyper 212 X and was wondering if I'm running a bit too hot, if I should att some thermal paste, reposition the heatsink etc... While playing Titanfall 2 at high and Battlefielt 1 at medium my temps are around 70-75C on about all four cores, is that too high? Thank you!
  3. Yeah so bf1 is kind of trash for me rn... I’m able to comfortably play battlefront 2 perfectly fine without any lag on my pc but when it comes to battlefield 1 it’s like it just doesn’t care. Playing on medium (depending on which map) I get around 40-55 FPS I’m I’m lucky 60 for a couple of seconds... but in battlefront two on ultra I can get a stable 70 FPS on ultra? The game for me right now is unplayable because of this and I feel like I even got a better performance out of my old 770 gpu... anyone got a good explaination to why this is happening? Anything I can do to fix it since battlefront 2 has the same requirements but run A LOT better. specs: i5-2500k @4.3Ghz Asus GTX 1060 6GB Dual OC 8GB DRAM GA-P67A-D3-B3 motherboard 250GB ssd 2TB HDD
  4. So I just clocked my cpu to 4.3 Ghz from my former clock of 4Ghz, but for some reason both CPU-Z and Core Temp are showing my clock speed at 4010.52MHz and that the multiplier is x40 when I've set it to x43? Using a GA-P67A-D3-B3 Motherboard and an Intel Core i5-2000K. Nevermind problem solved!
  5. Do you mean x40 without changing the vcore or trying it with a change of the vcore?
  6. I disabled the turbo and set it to 33x but now it’s running at 3.20ghz?
  7. Sorry I’m really bad at all this when it comes to overclocking and BIOS settings, but what would be your recommendations for these? And is the clock speed and CPU voltage all I really need to change? I was thinking maybe I’d set it to x40 or so...
  8. So, I'm having some questions regarding my pc, well mainly my cpu... So I've tried overclocking it two times using a guide for my cpu and motherboard. When I'm done my pc doesn't want to boot the OS, so I thought I'd just run it with the stock clocking so I set the values back to it's original state. I checked my cpu when I got back on my pc and it said it was running my i5-2500k at 3.10 Ghz, so I went back and checked in the BIOS and it was apparently set to x31 so I just changed it to x33 to get it to 3.30 Ghz, but this time, after changing it to x33 it is currently running at 3.60Ghz? Also, how far do you guys think I could push my cpu with the clock speed without having to change anything else? What could cause this? Now that it's currently running at 3.60Ghz it seems that performance is worse than at 3.30Ghz. I didn't change any voltage or anything when I went back and set it to x33. Is it safe to run it at 3.60 Ghz without changing anything else but upping it to 3.60? I would like to OC my cpu at some point because right now I'm not getting the FPS I want in games like BF1 and PUBG with my i5-2500k and GTX 1060 6GB... I'm currently getting about 55 fps and sometimes drops to around 45 in BF1 (playing on medium) and in PUBG it's usually around 50-70 depending on where I am in the game (playing on very low). Btw my motherboard is a GA-P67A-D3-B3.
  9. Hello, so I have a little question regarding my pc. I'm using BF1 as a reference and I'm wondering what I could expect from my current PC. I would like to play BF1 on medium/high, however currently I'm just getting around 40-60 FPS depending on what's going on, usually it stays around 50-55 FPS which really sucks. I don't really know but I feel like my computer should be able to run it better than it currently is. Thankful for answers!
