    Both are different chipsets. Did you decide on a processor yet? Processors have to be compatible with motherboard chipsets.

    Hmm, did you try resetting your laptop? Might be a software issue. Only other thing I can think of.. something's wrong with the battery!

    I had been using a 60Hz 720p monitor with a 75Hz 1024x768 monitor a while back without any problems. Same principle I guess? You should be FINE.

    Yo I'm rocking the 2600 since 2011. If something would've happened it would've happened in the 6 years I've been using it . Nah I know it's bad for the CPU but who cares right. I'll just replace it with a newer generation when it finally gives up. Sometimes it will run at even 3.3 GHz (3.4 is minimum lmao) to lower the temps itself.

    My CPU is running at 96 degrees totally fine for over a year never replaced the stock cooler.
