  1. Just looking at the specs alone I would say #1.. I like that it has a SSD and a better video card. If you want casual gaming I might see if you can find a something with a 1050 or 1060 if that the CPU / Video card fits within you budget. I also found a CPU comparison that show AMD is faster in this case. http://www.cpu-world.com/Compare/510/AMD_FX-Series_for_Notebooks_FX-9830P_vs_Intel_Core_i7_Mobile_i7-7500U.html http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-7500U-vs-AMD-FX-9590/m171274vs1812 Video Comparison For RX 460 https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=Radeon+RX+460 Video Comparison For R5 M420 https://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=Radeon+R5+M420
  2. Thanks, I just did my pc parts list with my current inventory. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VHHYVY
  3. I would recommend getting GSYNC enabled for gaming. I don't have an ultrawide but I use the ASUS P279Q 16:10 144hz and its beautiful, amazing! The ROG SWIFT PG348Q would have been my 2nd choice. These are high end options not sure what your budget it.
  4. The goal is to upgrade my current PC. I will not replace my ASUS ROG Strix OC 980TI at this point, I want to wait mid year 2018. Current PC. AMD 8120 ( 8 Core) which is overclocked to 4gig 16GIG RAM SSD HDD ASUS ROG Strix OC 980TI Monitor is ASUS Rog Swift PG279Q I want to re-use my power supply and video card to save me some money. I would like to spend less than 1700 excluding video card and power supply. I use my PC primary PC for gaming and do occasionally run a VM for Linux, light photo shop and video creation with tech smith software. I play Rainbow6 Seige, MW Online and multiple FPS games along with RP games. New PC I am looking at I8700K ( LGA 1151), i7740 LGA2066 4 Core, or I7800 LGA2066 6 Core) Decided on new SSD HD since PCIE M2 speed is way faster than most games need. I can add another disk later and I will added PCIE M2 1TB For Data. Corsairs Vengeance DDR4 3000 - 32 gig but 16gig would be fine also 1080TI some time in 2018. The I7700K processor is still amazing but I wanted to have some growth. the X gen processors are brand new and I know will be around but the 8700K processor is awesome also. What do you guys think. Thanks.
