  1. Thanks for getting back to me werto. Can you give me a ballpark price? How about the electrical components? Most of the parts list is jibberish to me.
  2. Yes, that was a typo, i meant to type "printer". Thanks to all of you for pointing it out, over and over again.... I dont care where you make it, we will ship it when your done. How much do you think its worth and how long will it take?
  3. I love the idea of this although I know it's beyond my modest skill level. I don't have a 3D printer but I could get it printed locally although I'd still be totally lost on the electrical stuff. Has anyone tried making one of these? https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:718989/#comments
  4. I get a little chuckle everytime I use Internet Explorer to install Chrome and then remove IE. It's the software equivalent of making it dig its own grave. How about startup? Do you disable anything in there?
  5. Thanks Nelize. I just started on Windows 10 a few weeks ago. Can you be more specific about Nuking bloatware and ninite + classic shell? I have no idea what your talking about.
  6. Heya Guys. When you install an operating system, wether is be on a new rig or a fresh install on an existing pc, do you have a set procedure you follow as far as setup? As in adjusting things and installing programs? I have recently wised up to saving all the utilities that I routinely download for a new build to a USB drive to save time. If you have a checklist that you follow is it intended for a customer's computer? A gaming rig? Workstation? Thanks guys.
  7. Thanks guys, I figured someone had already figured this stuff out so I wouldn't have to reinvent the wheel.
  8. Now that is exactly what I was looking for, thanks Donny. Any thoughts on so.ething similar I could recover from existing equipement? GPS? Mini Dvd player? I'm a really resourceful guy.
  9. Hey guys. What's the smallest possible monitor you can connect to a PC? Including (especially) something I can cobble together from some other electronics? Explanation I have a test bench that is really convenient for testing used hardware I come across. If I just need it to post, boot, and run a little diagnostic I could do it with a 6" to 10" screen mounted to the top or side of my rig and not need to have a second monitor taking up space on my workbench. Is there something common I can recover a screen from that I can easily connect to a GPU and power off 12v or 5v? Has anyone tried this before? Thanks guys.
