  1. i already know the problem thanks for your thoughts both msi afterburner and gpu-z is showing that the powerload is at its maximum (msi afterburner the power limit is at constant 100%, and the GPU-z shows the pwr thing is filled to the top with green )
  2. hi, i've got a 1060 (6gb) since today and i installed it with a 260 watt psu running system i use and another psu of 350 watt only for the gpu i use a 2x sata to 6 pin adapter with it (and each sata connecter is connected to a standalone cable from the psu) but it underperforms like: it does use a maximum of 20 % or something like that of its total performance (source: afterburner) could it be that the 350 watt psu doesnt deliver enough wattage thru the sata connectors? i already deleted all the graphics drivers and reinstalled the most recent one and its in the first pcie x 16 lane (its the pny 1060 6gb)
  3. thanks, i will just use this PSU for exactly 17 days and then i have got a new one fully modular etc
  4. i cerntainly trust the psu since i used it for like a year now on my "testbench" but if you look up the diagram/pin out of the 6 pin you'll see sense A, gnd and +12 v, i dont know what that is and i dont know if the psu got the same diagram/pin out
  5. so the voltage's dont match? with what the gpu needs and PSU gives? because the PSU works perfectly fine i have used it a lot of times on lan parties etc for my small form factor build
  6. i have recently used the psu and it worked perfectly fine, but will the voltages be oke because this psu will maybe give different voltages then the gpu actually needs in a 6 pin pcie
  7. i would like to buy a new psu but i litterally got 79 cents right now and maybe this psu i had already laying around would work with its 6 pin
  8. because my psu doesnt got a 6pin connector and i'll be buying one on the 8th of december
  9. i will get my salary on 8 december and i was already considering buying that with my salary
  10. its 240 w 80 + rated and i will use only this one for the GPU, because i already got a psu for the mobo etc
  11. Hi, Today i bought a PNY GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (will arrive Tuesday) which has a 6 pin PCIe connector i also got this cfh0240ewwb powersupply (one of HP stock SFF PSU which uses its 6 pin to power the mobo) will it's 6 pin (the one of the stock HP) be compatible with the 1060? it has exactly the same layout but about the different voltages etc.? in the attachments you'll see the psu connector Will it work or wont it?
