  1. Hello, I'm looking for a power bank for my XPS 15 9570 as I'm gaming and editing videos quite often on it, depleting my battery quickly. When I plug in a USB-C phone charger, it says my computer needs at least a 45-watt charger for it to charge. I spoke with a Dell customer representative and they told me that I need a charger of atleast 130W to charge my laptop, and recommended me this: https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/dell-notebook-power-bank-plus-18000-mah-pw7015l/apd/451-bbkv/pc-accessories. Looking at HWiNFO, my laptop is using 43W on charge, are they lying to me? If so, can anyone help me find a power bank that I can charge overnight and use on the go? I currently only have one charger that I keep at home, and I'm too scared to take it with me as I'm afraid to lose it. If a power bank isn't available, I'm okay with a charger as long as it's able charge my laptop from the nearest outlet. Thanks. Here is my HWiNFO
  2. Isn't USB 3.0 =/= USB C? I have a Thunderbolt 3 connector (USB-C)
  3. Alright, thanks so much guys, much appreciated! On another note, what do you guys think of External HDDs? I was thinking of buying one to put some games on it, and I want to take full advantage of my Thunderbolt 3 port. Any recommendations you guys got? I kinda don't want to replace my 230GB NVMe with a 1-2TB one.
  4. How do I check my current wattage on my battery? Thanks.
  5. Hello, in "Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology" application on my XPS, on the right hand side it shows this: Does this mean I can add another SSD? If so, what type would it be? The SATA 2.5" form factor, or another NVMe? Much love, thanks.
  6. Hello, I'm having this issue once every two weeks where windows gives me "No connections available" and some windows apps and UI stops working, like task manager, settings, and start menu. The PC isn't frozen completely like how it would be if memory/cpu usage is full, but some apps and things won't open and are frozen and I'm able to move mouse click on things etc. Restarting it immediately solves the problem but it's a new laptop and I don't want to ignore issues that might hurt in the long run. Does anyone know what could be causing it? (Dell XPS 15 9570)
  7. Thanks for the great responses. So if I want the fastest speeds for an external HDD, TB3 is overkill and USB 3.0 is the best? Thanks once again.
  8. Hello LTT forums, So I'm looking for a new laptop with Thunderbolt 3 connection because I'll be using an external hard drive. I did some findings and I found a good laptop with the specs to suit my needs. However, in order to utilize the Thunderbolt 3 speeds, does the external hard drive need to have a Thunderbolt 3 port? Also, what about the cable? Thanks.
  9. Thank you guys so much! Time to get this boy rolling.
  10. Alright thanks guys. Where can I get the setup to reinstall Windows on my SSD so I can get this thing going?
  11. I watched the tutorial, after I get my key, I am able to reuse it on my SSD Windows 10 installation? Won't it detect that the key has already been used?
  12. For real? Yeah, I have Windows 10 and using the same mobo. Where will I start the Windows 10 installation?
  13. Like, is there a way I can use my existing key for a new copy on my SSD?
  14. Where will I get a copy of windows? And other than pirating it, won't it be unactivated?
  15. Okay thanks. I have lots of stuff on my 1TB Hard Drive, and I don't want to delete any of it, as it includes lots of editing programs and saved presets and stuff. Am I able to just pick out the folders that Windows uses, and clone those instead of having to remove everything and then cloning?
  16. Hello everyone. I just set up an SSD, and Windows recognized it. I would like to make it my boot device, and not sure what's the first step. Do I allocate it? If so, do I use MBR, or GPT? Thanks.
  17. Thank you so much. What about the power switch and reset switch? I don't know where to plug em in because I don't have a motherboard manual. Do you have any idea?
  18. Yes, that's correct. CPU fan is occupied. I don't get how the fan header connects to the system header though. They're both female.
  19. Thanks for the help. I got an Acer Aspire TC-605. And how would I go to getting a Molex connector and hooking it up on the PSU? I really dont want to buy another mobo. Edit: I want to add that im not familiar with where to plug in my jump headers since I don't have the mobo manual.
