  1. Budget would be $400 and under, and I am located in the USA
  2. Ok, so I am in the market for a monitor primarily for my Ps4 Slim and yes I know the PS4 maxes out at 60hz, but I am planning to get a pc in the future and play PC games as well so I think getting the 144hz would be better for me for the future and plus wouldn't TV shows and movies look way better with 144hz than 60hz because I watch a lot of movies and tv shows as well. I also am a competitive gamer and I also would like to get into streaming and creating YouTube videos. Anyways, I was looking at some monitors and I am having a hard time choosing between getting the BenQ Xl2411, the BenQ XL2720 or one of the CFG70 monitors from Samsung or something else. I am having a really difficult time choosing between getting at 24 inch or 27 inch monitor. One fact about me is that I always like to have the biggest screen possible for example I would prefer to get the iPhone 7 plus over the iPhone 7. The thing is, I've been doing a lot of research and the majority of people are saying that 1080p on a 27 inch monitor looks grainy and looks like garbage and are saying that 24 inch is the sweet spot for 1080p. Please help me choose a monitor, it doesn't have to be the ones I've listed but yeah. Thanks!
  3. Ok, pretty much I am struggling to choose between whether or not to get a monitor (struggling to choose between a few, more details later) or a TV (TCL 55P607). I recently got a PS4 slim and I have a crappy tv at the moment. I watch a TON of movies, tv shows, and I play games a LOT as well (competitively too) I would also like to get into streaming/making youtube videos. Anyways, my family wants me to get a TV and the one I have chose, the TCL 55P607 is 4k, has HDR and a really low input lag at I think 16 ms and it is $650. I was also looking struggling to choose a monitor I would want. Some of the ones I am looking at are the BENQ RL2455, RL2755, the XL2411 and the XL2720. Should I get the TV or one of these 4 monitors? I am also struggling in choosing what monitor size would be good for me, the 27 inch or 24 inch. I am aware that the XL monitors I listed are meant for PC gaming as they have 144hz and PS4 max is 60hz but I was hoping to maybe get into PC gaming in the near future but I don't know yet and I still think it would be fine with the PS4 . I don't know if the image quality would look good on the monitors since I do watch a lot of movies and tv shows, but I don't think the 4k would be worth it since my max download speed is I think around 13 mbps, but I'm not sure on that. The TV is around $650 and the monitors are around $250, max being $380. Please give me some advice!
  4. I have no idea if I am doing this right as I've never posted on a forum before, but to provide a little more context, I recently got a PS4 slim. Anyways I am having a hard time choosing between getting a monitor or TV. For the monitor side of things I think my main choice at the moment unless you guys have any other suggestions would be the BenQ RL2755 which is 60hz, 1080p, and has a 1ms response time and for the TV I haven't really done much research on that yet. Anyways, personally I always prefer the biggest possible screen on anything, phones, computers, etc. I'm sure I would be fine with the monitor as 27 inches is still quite a large screen. I am a really competitive gamer, but I would also watch a lot of YouTube, Netflix, and other content on whatever I end up getting. I also want to start streaming to twitch or YouTube if that helps build some more context. This is why I am having a hard time choosing between the monitor or a TV since the monitor would be better for competitive gaming, but I would also watch a ton of movies and videos which I think the TV would be better for. What do you guys think?
