  1. Found it it was overheating and its was because of my fan speed it was set to run for dead silent so it was barley running so i have turned it up and have not had any problems since
  2. OK so its a long story but basically my parents have a thing to block me from haveing internet access at certain time that are set i.e from 10pm to 8am i dont mind it but somtimes i need to download stuff over night since my internet is slow. so #1 i cant obtain ip and #2 the way they are doing the blocking is obviously thru the router. idk if there is a way to get past it i really dont care i am just carious if there is a way (btw if it includes messing with code or somthing i can do it but there is a 67.893% chance i could break somthing important) And yes they said if i NEED to do somthing like update they could unblock it but wheres the fun in that
  3. i was just saying fortnite as a example for a game it dose this almost to any game i play within these last few weeks. i played fortnite once to see how bad it ran and uninstalled it almost right after.
  4. ok say i am playing a game like fortnite (which almost dose not run at all) i will be playing it and after i am done and i close out its not immediate but within 1 to 10 mins and sometimes it will with in that period and sometimes i will be fine.
  5. From what i can see there is no cpu temp monitor reading in my bios Maybe since this is a hp motherboard.
  6. Ok so i have posted a lot about my pc and its problems but this is its biggest problem yet it has been shutting down at random for the past few weeks and i have been trying to troubleshoot the problem and i have no idea but 1# i know its not software it has to be hardware its a full pc shutoff like if the power goes out kind of shutoff ( aka no blue screen/ warning/error code). 2# i know its not ram cause that would cause a blue screen with a code.3# its not my motherboard i checked the capacitors no bulges or anything. Ok so what i have on my mind is 1 of 2 things 1# cpu overheating i got this pc a year ago from a Microsoft refresher online (i.e. amazon) and this pc is maybe 4 to 6 years old so if they did not replace the thermal paste it could be bad i dought that they would not replace it but then again idk how long since it was refurbished 2# the power supply is going bad i know there is no way a pc referbisher replaced the psu unless that was its problem and why it got referbished. like i said not ram i am positive its not software P.S. there is no gpu in here its is a amd apu so its has enough power and for some reason i can not get thermal readings from any software to see the cpu temps so this is why i dont know if it is over heating or not (when i go to see the temps it says like 7 degrees Celsius idle and max of like 30c after i play something) and at this point idk its not like it shuts off while under load its like after i am done playing and i am sitting on the desktop it shuts off
  7. ok if you say so i know when i got it, it came from a refurbisher so i dont know if he replaced it and the pc is around 6 to 4 years old since its fm2 socket and it still has a windows 7 sticker and some cheap battery's can some times last only 2 years but most will last 10 but i am going to reset the cmos and see
  8. ok and its kind of around the same time every day but since it did boot loop i am almost positive that its the cmos
  9. that picture shows some what of the temps at idle but i am taking it with a grain of salt cause that freq#0 and #1 get to 3592mhz (btw this is not over clocked so idk why it is showing 3.5 when base is 3.4) and temps get down to 7 degrees at idle and this is not water cooled or anything so those temps are wrong anyways
  10. could it be the cmos battery look at sign 2 https://www.bayt.com/en/specialties/q/10887/what-are-the-signs-of-cmos-battery-failure/ cause last night at the time of my post it turned off and boot looped a bit and now its seems fine when i turn it on it may not be the cmos tho cause it still is keeping time and date
  11. i dont think so i have had this pc for a year so far and its never done this
  12. ok so my pc keeps shutting off at almost random once a day around 5:30 est and let me say this is not a windows random shut down this is a full pc shut off like someone unplugged the power cable and this is not like shutting off when runing a high demanding application these have been on the desktop doing nothing. i have it plugged in a power strip but i have tried a different plug on it and i know its not the whole strip cause my monitor and anything else plugged in dose not loses power. is this my psu or something else.HELP
  13. ok i got this cheap windows pc tablet from my grandma and for starters like 1/4th of the touch screen is not working but i wanted to try so i went and reset windows for a fresh start and in the middle of doing so it fails at 39% and now it will not boot to windows yet windows recovery tools says its fine. so if someone knows anything tell me its a icraig cmp810-bun its cheap but i got it for free so ya i would not mind reinstalling windows or any other os i just want it to work even tho spec wise its bad. i have tryed restoreing windows but i have no restore points so to me there is no other way then to reinstall or have a recovery of somekind but the tablet works off of 1 micro usb so i need to get a adapter to use more then one device at a time but i do have amicro sd card if that helps i have tryed everything now i leave it to you
