  1. Gaming pc Ryzen 1700x Strix gtx1080ti 32gb Corsair 3000mhz ram Rog crosshair hero IV motherboard My gaming pc has enough grunt to play and stream generally without a problem. This is more a project just to see what kind of older CPU could handle a 720p 60fps encoding in a 2pc setup
  2. Hi everyone, I am trying to test out using older CPU's for as little money as possible to push a stream to Twitch/Mixer from my gaming PC. I am currently bogged down going through AMD FX's and 3rd/4th gen Intels. Obviously cores are going to count in this but im trying to find a sweet spot for 720p 60fps streaming while handling OBS/NDI etc If anyone has any suggestions i would be so grateful. Remember, i am looking for something cheap but capable! Thanks again
  3. Thanks for the advice, before I do that. I did a bit of digging and managed to find the ssd within device manager. However its giving me a status that it is not connected to the computer. I re seated the M.2 and re checked it was showing up as a bootable drive, which it does. However I am still getting this. I am just thinking as I re freshed windows. Does this mean that I have to turn something on or off in Bios to get it to be discovered? Just a thought
  4. Hi everyone, I have a little knowledge but not enough to wrap my head around whats going on... So due to some compatibility issues I decided to refresh my windows install but keeping my files. Went through the process and everything seemed to be ok. However I then noticed that my Crucial P1 1TB M.2 SSD was no longer showing up. I checked Disk Management and nothing. Checked the HD/SSD in Bios and not showing up. Though I did check SSD secure erase in Bios and it showed up. I also checked Hard drive BBS Priorities and again I can see it there no problem. If I reboot and spam F8 again it will show it as a bootable disk but that's it, no matter what I try I cant get this thing to show up again. I do have 4 drives in total, 2 SSD a standard Mechanical drive and the M.2 Any help would be amazing! Thank you in advance and apologies if I need to ask a few questions. 5. Hi everyone, So I purchased the Brand New Rodecaster Pro Audio mixer and have connected it to my PC via the USB C connection. Everything shows up fine and have updated to the newest version. I immediately ran into problems with playback of audio. So I tested everything by playing a youtube video, everything sounded fine and then as soon as I stopped the video I got a high pitched tone, which only went when I loaded another audio source, Sometimes however the only thing that stops this is to power the unit off and on again. This happened on both versions of the software. The other problem I have is at totally random times everything will become distorted, again if I chose a different output and then go back it resets it but again its just a matter of time before it happens again. It seems to happen more when I change programmes etc. I have used a zoom H6 as an interface as well as a Behringer 1204 USB and have never run into this problem before. I am just spit balling while I wait for Rode to get back to me, on the off chance there is anything I can try to resolve this. Any help would be awesome Specs CPU: Ryzen 1700x Mobo: ROG Crosshair Hero VI RAM: 32gb Corsair 3000MHZ DDR4 GPU: Asus Strix GTX1080ti PSU: Corsair TXM 650 Watt power supply
  6. Hi all, I'm am at a loss to try and figure out what is going on with my PC at the moment so maybe someone can help me out. What I am finding is the moment I open either OBS Studio or Streamlabs OBS my entire pc starts stuttering and freezing. No matter what I tried and the only way to make it stop was to shut down either programme. I found out through research that if I opened task manager, I would see that 'system interrupts' would start using upwards of 15% of my Ryzen 1700x CPU. I have no clue on how to try and narrow down what's causing this to happen and how I go about fixing. Now I have installed a new SSD and a pcie usb 3.0 hub but I don't know if this has caused the issue. I did run elgato game capture as I have a cam link attachedd to the hub and my hd60 which are used when I open OBS and I could not replicate the problem. Please be gentle as I know a bit but trying to problem solve is not my strong point! Please someone help!??
  7. Yeah the water cooler issue is sorted it has just been moved. Its the instability with the USB of the motherboard thats giving me the hardest time of it
  8. Hi Everyone, i need some help as i am feeling really stupid at the moment. Minimal backstory. Been out of the PC loop for many years and wanted to dip my toe back into the master race. After becoming ill and loosing a leg i decided to spend some of my savings on a custom PC from a supposed reputable pc builder in the United Kingdom. I would have just put one together myself but i just wasnt well enough. Anyway after spending £2,000 i ended up with what i thought would be a PC that would let me game. Create a bit of content and allow me to stream but ever since having this i have had nothing but problems. First of all the build 1 x AMD Ryzen™ 7 1700X CPU (8 Core, 3.4GHz - 3.8GHz, 16MB Cache) Liquid CPU Cooler 1 x Corsair Hydro Series™ H80i v2 High Performance Liquid CPU Cooler Warranty 1 x 5 Year Bronze Warranty RAM 1 x Corsair Vengeance® RGB 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz C15 Memory Kit Graphics Card 1 x Asus ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB Motherboard 1 x Asus PRIME X370-Pro (Socket-AM4, 4X DDR4, ATX) Operating System 1 x Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit EN (OEM) Storage HDD / SSHD 1 x Seagate BarraCuda 1TB 3.5" SATA III HDD SSD 1 x ADATA 256GB Ultimate SU800 SATA III SSD Case 1 x Corsair Carbide Spec-Alpha Black/Red (No Optical, ATX) Power Supply Unit PC is plugged into a 32 inch Predator 4k monitor and various razer mouse keyboards etc So my problem. Well the biggest problem was realising that who ever had built the system had not put the IO shield on properly and one of the points was actually stuck inside one of the USB 3.1 ports and then they blocked the RAM Slot with the pump from the watercooler. After sending it back to the the case is completely jacked. My biggest problem tho seems to be with regards to USB on the motherboard. I use things from obviously mouse and keyboard to a headset and an elgato camlink. All have continual problems with the biggest being the camlink. It either does not recognise it at all or it will but will continually cycle through connecting and disconnecting. The company are so awful and i want to try and get this thing working. I dont have money to replace it so any help or advice would be amazing!
