  1. Yo yo guys, This post was actually for a friend of mine who didn't want to make an account on the forum, he ended up making the decision to buy the 24" 144hz rog monitor.
  2. Just checked Amazon for it, but there are none of them that are eligible to ship to South Africa, which is where I live.
  3. Hi there, thank you for the recommendation, could you please explain a little more? I know that the GT62 has gsync on the screen, but I am not too sure of how colour accurate it is, I am also a designer so I need at least 70% argb and I am willing to trade off gsync for that. I also, how is the build quality on the GT62 in comparison?
  4. Hi, so I have recently decided to buy the MSI GE63VR 7RE Raider and I just wanted to know what any alternatives are before I make my purchase. I know about the Asus GL502VS but are there any others? I need a laptop that is/has: GTX1070 Max $1700 - $1800 Nice screen over 70% ARGB i7 SSD + 1TB HDD It would be a great help knowing what else there is before I make my purchase. Kind Regards, Yash
  5. Hey guys, looking for help on getting a new monitor. I currently use a Samsung U28D590D as my main monitor and an old Samsung 1080p monitor as my secondary but am looking at getting in that 144hz life. Thinking of using the U28D590D as my secondary and getting a new one as my main gaming screen. Price range $500 - $600 Specs: 1080p 24" G Sync 144hz TN is fine Good image quality, vibrant colours and contrast Any Help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.
  6. I actually think I'm going to go with the MSI GE63VR becasue it has 89%argb even though it is a TN panel. Also the RGB keyboard doesn't hurt
  7. Hey guys Iv'e doing some research and I think I'm either going with the Asus GL502VS or the MSI GE63VR, I just feel like they are the best value for money with the 1070's and screen quality. Any thoughts? Iv'e been swaying more to the Asus.
  8. Thanks for the Youtube recommendation. The Alienware seems perfect its just that 13 inches is simply too small and the AW15 is such a huge price hike. Is the Lenovo Y720 any good? But I guess for that price rather go with the Aero. Do most laptops with IPS displays have 70%+ argb?
  9. Hey man thanks for the suggestion, but I'm not keen on the Xeon/Quadro pairing because I also play a lot of games.
  10. So guess it's just a waiting game at this point. Anyways, how can I tell what is a "decent IPS" display? Any pointers?
  11. Heyyy, I guess I would preferably like to be in the region of $1000 - 1500 . Also maybe you know places that can also ship to South Africa, that would be really helpful too.
  12. Hi, I'm looking for a laptop for both work and recreational purposes. I am a multimedia designer, I do illustrations, 2D animations, graphic design etc. I need a laptop with great colour accuracy and really good future proofed performance in gaming. I also don't want to be spending like crazy amounts of money, but if push comes to shove I guess I'll have to. So far the only one I think of really is the Gigabyte Aero 15, with a 24 gig RAM config for rendering animations. Other than that I can't find any other options. Please help with any recommendations! Basically: Great colour accuracy (don't need anything more than 1080p res) 1060 or higher gpu Lots of RAM for rendering At least 1TB of storage Decent price :\ Any help will be greatly appreciated.
