  1. probably just go back to scorptec with the lot, will report back on how everything goes
  2. rip my baby. thank you for your help man
  3. @NumLock21 running the AIDA64 stress tests 1 by 1 and cpu/fpu was good, ran cache for literally 4 seconds and it gave me the hardware failure detected... ran it again and under a minute it gives the same, RMA processor or just send the whole thing back?
  4. yeah, at 3066 and 2133 stock timings, no dice
  5. well, I got this in the box, 12 hours of testing, will have to give them a call tomorrow. Bit of a pain as I got it shipped from another state to get here... But I am running out of options so Im not sure what else I can do. I filed for an RMA on the memory and said I had logs of it crashing and they asked no questions and approved it, hoping itll be that easy for the whole system haha
  6. yeah could be, giving point of purchase a ring tomorrow and see what happens haha. not gunna lie, seeing the cpu sit at 40-45 degrees under 100% load is very nice, unlike my macbook pro which gets hot to touch after a short amount of editing (not even going to speak about rendering on that thing....)
  7. Will report back. Usually get the error in 5-10 minutes, how long should I run each individually for?
  8. already on the latest bios, has been since I got it tried at 2133, stock timings, recommended voltage, issue still persists unfortunately
  9. So I've owned my Ryzen build for just under a month now and have had problems from the beginning. It started out as a "TSLGame.exe has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware" issue, which I posted on reddit about and tried everything (new drivers, old drivers, downclocking the card, reseating the card etc etc) till I read online that it could be ram, so I downloaded memtest and straight away got errors, I was happy to pin point the problem so I bought the pro version and got a log file created and filed for an RMA with the place that stocked the parts and built/setup my machine for me. The next day I ran memtest again and couldnt get errors, went to 100% coverage and still got nothing back, any game I tried to play continued to crash so I went out sourcing more ways to test my system. Came across AIDA64 and how it was the be all and end all of stressing so I gave it a run, low and behold on CPU/FPU/Cache and it came back with the "Warning: Hardware failure detected! Test Stopped" error. I finally think I have pinpointed whats wrong, but not sure where to go next. Is there any easy way to my system stable or is it a case of I need to RMA my CPU? I didn't build this myself but rather got a reputable computer builder/parts stockist in Australia to put it together for me, I have a "Certificate of quality assurance" that literally says the CPU was tested/burnt in and that all the parts were tested/compatible with eachother so I could call their bluff if theres nothing I can really do here... 10. blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast it. So am I just unlucky with the board/chip I got or is something not compatible here?
  11. Running the same test at the moment @ 2133mhz 18-18-18-38 I did also try with 2 dimms instead of loading out all 4 and in game still got crashes (didn't run aida64 with 2 dimms, but Im going to assume since its still crashing that it would show the same result) I dont have another graphics card unfortunately as Ive been a mac dude for the last 4 years or so haha should I just get ready to send the system back?
  12. Ive had my 1700x for just under a month now and since I received it have been having the same issues, games crashing randomly, sometimes with an "XXXX.exe (XXXX being the game) has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware" or more recently with blue screens with that same driver not less or equal. Ive ran AIDA64 stressing CPU, FPU and cache and i get "Warning Hardware failure detected! Test stopped", also I ran memtest a few times, the first time I ran it I got a plethora of errors but now nothing? (nothing has changed with my ram speed/timings) Time to send my system back to where I bought it?
