  1. Yea... I was thinking about using double sided tape to secure the distro plate. And the idea of leaking into my PSU would be bad. Even without the distro plate it will look good.
  2. Hi! I'm getting all my part right now for my custom water loop & i was thinking about somethig. The case i am building in : corsair obsidian 750d airflow edition => Picture to my build right now : https://imgur.com/a/QVplInC So parts i know i am getting are : EK-CoolStream SE 280 & 360 (Front and top) EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE 160 VTX PWM D-RGB combo unit https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-kinetic-tbe-160-vtx-pwm-d-rgb-acetal?fbclid=IwAR0WVH4vtFzTDbJ48buYT8iS_A_k62siTqbAXkugpngskEt4ji0mg6unh4g EK-Quantum Magnitude - 1151 Coper + Acetal (Black) https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-magnitude-115x-copper-acetal?___SID=U . And a GPU block. Now my question is, EK released there ' EK-Quantum Volume FLT ' Reservoirs / distro plate. https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-quantum-volume-flt-240-d-rgb-plexi?fbclid=IwAR1wfljbzmTYKdXduM4H6yhJA_8ddoBrgf2n24Kj6cybToVpUxqK_c7LZpM And i think they really look nice. Sadly enough after looking inside my pc i don't see a good spot to put one. THEN it struck me : Can I play the reservoir horizontally on my PSU shroud? In theory i'd say yes(???), But am i going to have enough pressure / pump power to pump around? I was thinking about : pump/res combo => Distro plate => gpu => Cpu => Rad 1 => Rad 2 => Pump/res combo.
  3. Well i know that, but i was asking about info for overclocking my cpu. MY RAM is already running XMP.
  4. Why does it feel like you are talking about overclocing the RAM? I mean i just use XMP on that.
  5. Hi guys, I have been using my computer for a little bit now and i am thinking about overclocking my CPU (would like 5.0Ghz) And i need some help info to get me going to know what i should do. Sorry i am a total noob at this. lmao First some PC info to get the ball rolling :CPU: Intel I9 9900KCPU Cooler : Corsair H150I Pro RBG (3x Corsair LL120mm Fans) // Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Master (2x 8-PIN connector is used)Power Supply: Corsair RM750x 80+ GoldRam: Corsair Vengeance 32Gb 3200Mhz Base temps: https://imgur.com/a/kaGKpfa https://imgur.com/a/u1NoeWX (The cpu temps are on idle obv) So When i got the pc i did a BIOS update, no idea if i should install the latest version of the bios (Would it help?). Second if i look online there are some things every is saying you should do : Load XMP profile. Set CPU clock ratio to 50 . Disabled the following in my Bios : Intel® Speed Shift Technology, CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E), C3 State Support, C6/C7 State Support, C8 State Support and C10 State Support, Enhanced Multi-Core Performance. Change the Uncore Frequency to 47. & Disable VT-d. CPU Vcore Loadline Calibration on Turbo. Change Vcore to 1.300V. Put TjMAX to 110°C If this is true , Should i just do it? If not please i'd like some info on this why and so. For Benchmarks i'd use Prime95,Cinebench R20 & Realbench. Already thank you for reading!
  6. After a while of thinking what parts i was going to buy & the theme it's finally here! The first build i really put time and effort into cable managment and trying to make it all look nice and clean. I went for a black & white theme. Using the pc for gaming & streaming. Still have to put some time into Overclocking the GPU & CPU though. (Would it be a good idea to change the fans into Corsair LL120/140 RGB fans? or would that be too much?) 9. Thx for the info, Would the i9 9900K be really overkill for Streaming & gaming? so the 8700K would be enough (oc'd ofc) I have a dual screen setup both 27" screens 1080P. So reason i took the GTX 2070 is cuz i have a 770 GTX right now and it's falling behind in games.
  10. Thanks for the responds. I don't know why but i am not really a fan of the NVENC x264 encoding. also spending about 1200-1300 on a gpu seems... idk weird. Reason i wanted to go for the i9 9900K is the extra 2 Cores. The RTX 2070 is probably still a pretty good gpu for the games i play, and comes to come in the future. (I also could be totally wrong about all of this lol )
  11. So my older pc is falling behind and i'm thinking about getting a new one. Could be a little bit of overkill but would be nice to hear some opinions on this https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KPnHMZ My price range is from about 2000 - 2600. (€) I am just worried that the CPU AIO won't be enough for the i9 9900K. And i'd probably need a Z390 board instead of a Z370 board. thanks in advance
