  3. Hi, I recently got an old PC and was wondering which CPUs are supported. I think it is either LGA 1366 or LGA 1356. It is a Dell workstation but I don’t know the model. I have attached a picture. Help appreciated!
  4. Hi, I just finished building my PC but I am unable to install Windows due to not having an internet connection. I have tried a different cable but it still doesn’t detect it. The router also doesn’t show the PC being a connected device. The BIOS says the link status is disconnected even though the ethernet activity led is blinking. The motherboard is the Z690i Aorus Ultra Lite. Why is this and how can I fix it?
  5. I do not have a line that contains quiet splash in the commands. Mine just says: setparams 'Try or Install Ubuntu Server' set gfxpayload=keep linux /casper/vmlinuz --- initrd /casper/initrd

  11. I tried installing Windows 7 first and updating it to Windows 10 after but I get a blue screen while installing saying "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR." Could all of this be a memory issue?
  12. I get the same error as before saying "Windows cannot find the Microsoft Software License Terms. Make sure the installation sources are valid and restart the installation." Is the .cfg file case sensitive? I have been putting in ei.cfg.
  13. I will give this a shot later and I will update you.
  14. I just tried it and it gives an error saying "Windows could not display images available for installation."
  15. I will try this tomorrow and I will let you know if it works.

  18. Hi, I have been trying to install Windows 10 on a different hard drive via a bootable USB but I keep getting an error saying "Windows cannot find the Microsoft Software License Terms. Make sure the installation sources are valid and restart the installation." So far, I have tried recreating the bootable USB but this error still occurs. How can I fix this?
  19. It seems like reinstalling the drive has fixed it for now.
  20. Recently I have been trying to run Minecraft on an old computer of mine but once every 1 to 10 minutes it would completely drop. My old computer does not support 802.11ac so I tried using 2.4 GHz on my primary computer. The Wi-Fi continues to work on my primary computer when it drops. Why is this happening and what can I do to resolve this issue?

  23. Hi, I am trying to install Windows 10 on a new SSD but after the installation process where it says it is finishing up, it sends me back to where it asks me to the beginning of the installation. How do I fix this?
