  1. Not a prebuilt, however I did recycle a couple of parts, but I doubt this is relevant cause it was quite a specific case. I had built a similiar PC when I was staying in the UK in 2020 when covid came around, and I played on it for at most 6 months. I then had to come back to Italy and decided to keep specifically PSU and RAM, since they where the only things I could actually carry with me due to luggage space. In any case, graphics card dying is my main concern as well... I am not 100% sure because I do tend to forget details, but problems may have started to happen some time after I bought a new 2k monitor, however I can't exactly be sure if it was just awful timing, or the actual triggering cause
  2. Hello, I do apologize in advance if I ended up posting on the wrong section, I don't really use this forum a lot. So as the title says I've recently been having issues with my desktop PC, it started about a month ago with occasional bluescreens, I'm not quite sure which error was the first one (I think it was a PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA). I wasn't sure what to do, since I had not installed anything in particular, and recently it has started getting worse. Sometimes I get a bluescreen, sometimes the game straight up just closes or crashes (This only happens when I'm playing Overwatch 2). And even the crashes vary: sometimes it just closes with no message and sometimes an error shows saying: "the game crashed in the graphics driver". I'll be putting screenshots of errors I've collected in the past couple of days. Here's my specs: Note, I've had this PC for almost 3 years now, and to be honest it has also been off for most of this time as it is my PC in my home country and I've been way for most of the time. - Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (/w Corsair h100i AIO) - Corsair Vengeance PRO 2x8 GB 3600mhz - AORUS RTX 2080 Super - Sabrent 1TB NVME & 2TB Seagate HDD - Corsair Vengeance 650M PSU And here's what I've tried so far in order (to no avail as you can tell): - RAM verification through Windows Memory Diagnostic - DDU uninstalled video drivers and reinstalled them - Formatting and clean installing of windows I've recently been playing: Minecraft, Rocket League, Overwatch 2, Conan Exiles, and these issues have only happened with Overwatch 2 and Conan, I've had at least one BSOD each. I'm also not entirely sure but I might have had a BSOD while playing modded, shader minecraft. Not 100% sure though. I've not had a BSOD yet after formatting, however OW2 crashed twice (sessions usually last at least 30m, but I've not actually monitored the time) first time with no error and second time everything just froze, I could not open the task manager and the only thing I could occasionally see was a very laggy spinning window pointer. Here's the BSOD errors I've had: And here's a couple of crashes I've had with OW2: and after that ^ the game would only show this until I restarted the PC Since a couple of those BSOD pointed to overheating, I've checked the temps and they're all nominal, highest on OW2 was 65° C on CPU and 83°C on GPU And as mentioned I've formatted my PC since many pointed to memory corruption, what's left now is hardware failure I guess, which would be... well, considering the current cost of GPUs it would be a catastrophy. I'm not a PC expert but I have picked up a few things here and there, so my guesses are RAM or GPU dying. Any ideas?
  3. I'm ordering most of my components from amazon and that one currently gets dispatched from 1 to 2 months so, any other suggestions?
  4. Hey there, I'm finishing up my build and I need a psu wattage reccomendation. System: Asus ROG B450-F Ryzen 7 3700x 16 gbs ram RTX 2070 Super 2tb hdd 250gb nvme 6 case fans Something semi modular would be great and possibly below 100£
  5. Hey there! I'm building a new PC and I'm basically done picking the components, I just need to pick a case. Possibly 150£, 200 at most Components that matter in terms of space follow: Asus Rog B450-F Ryzen 7 3700X (Probably gonna use the default cooler as I don't plan on overclocking it, maybe I'll get an aftermarket cooler later on, so room for a tall cooler is always good) Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2080 Super Waterforce (AIO), which I would like to mount vertically An HDD and NVMe Thermaltake Toughpower Grand 750W Now, I was initially going to go with an NZXT H700 but I need a case that supports vertical GPU mounting as I'm don't really like the way the cables go through if you use a vertical mounting kit on a case that doesn't support it by default. So what I'm looking for: - Large case - Tempered Glass panel/s - Vertical GPU mount - PSU Shroud Thanks in advance!
  6. Hello everyone! I've recently moved to the UK and don't plan on getting my trusty "old" PC here and just leave it back home. But I still need a PC and I don't like laptops, so building a new PC is the only option here. Here follow the guidelines, my starting point is my old PC, which has: Ryzen 5 1600 Gigabyte AX370 Gaming 5 16 GBs 3200 Mhz GTX 1060 3 GB 1 TB HDD & 250 GB SSD I could just build the same thing again, but I've been wanting to upgrade for a while now and move onto 1440p as well. 1. Budget & Location My budget is about 1000-1200£ give or take, might stretch it a bit more if necessary, but obviously I'd rather not. As mentioned, location is UK. 2. Aim Mostly heavy gaming. Demanding games, maybe some VR or video edit as well. 3. Monitors 1 or 2 monitors, I only play on one but always loved the utility of a second monitor, though it's not really a must right now, I could just buy it later on. 1440p, possibly not 60hz 4. Peripherals I might consider peripherals, nothing too crazy though as I already have something in mind. 5. Why are you upgrading? As mentioned above, I've recently moved to the UK and don't plan on getting my trusty "old" PC here and just leave it back home. But I still need a PC and I don't like laptops, so building a new PC is the only option here.
  7. That's pretty nice, thanks. Though I was making it on PCPartPicker and got a potential issue saying: "Warning! Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions." It only goes away if using X570s What's your saying on this?
  8. I always play on 1, usually use two for browsing, keeping useful stuff on the second monitor, just utility in general And yeah, not an enthusiast of high res or refresh rate, more like "I always played on 1080p 60hz and that was good enough"
  9. Hello everyone! Since I've recently moved to the UK and left my PC for my sister to use back home, I'm considering a new build since I really don't like laptops and their stupid overprice. My starting point is the graphics card, as I'm planning to use it for higher-end games, and want it to be up to date with future titles. That said, I was considering a 2060 Super. Here follow the guidelines. 1. Budget & Location My budget is about 1000-1200£ give or take, might stretch it a bit more if necessary, but obviously I'd rather not. As mentioned, location is UK. 2. Aim Mostly heavy gaming. Demanding games like Far Cry 5, AC Odyssey, FFXV etc. I might also play some VR with it or video edit as well. 3. Monitors 2 most likely as that's what I am used to. Don't really plan on getting more in the future. About res I'd say 1440 as I'm not really a super high res enthusiast. 4. Peripherals I might consider peripherals, nothing too crazy though. 5. Why are you upgrading? As mentioned, I left my PC back home and don't plan on getting it shipped as I gave it to my sister so I'm looking to build a new one. I mentioned I was looking at a 2060 Super but I'm not quite sure about what CPU I could pair it with. I've read about R5 3600X or R7 3700X, but I'm not super knowledgeable of CPUs so I'm open to reccomendations.
  10. Hey! Can you suggest me a Full tower case that is both big enough and looks good? I would like it to have a window, maybe tempered glass. For "looks good" I mean something kind of like S340 Elite.
  11. @JM21JM21Yeah I know that cooler, but it's too big for my case...
  12. @JM21 I will be installing Vengeance LED. What cooler would you suggest me then?
  13. Hey! I was wandering what AIO liquid cooler you would suggest me for a Ryzen 7 1700X that I will of course overclock?
  14. @EndermanDo you know if I'll be able to mount it right away on a MSI X370 Gaming Pro or if I need the mounting kit?
  15. Hello, I wanted to get a cooler for a 1700X, and I was suggested the Dark Rock Pro 3, which is 163mm tall, but my case, from the specs, supports up to 161mm. Some say they are using this cooler in my same case, but I am not so sure. Do you guys know anything?
