  1. Hi everyone, I am looking for a software that can automatically update my installed applications on Windows 10. I was already looking at Ninite, but the problem is that Ninite doesn't work with all applications. Is there an alternative that maybe you have tried that works with most applications? Thanks!
  2. Hi Everyone, Recently I had a problem with my computer where, when I turn it on, it freezes on the UEFI screen and after some time asks me from which device I want to boot. After I select the drive, the computer turns on and works normally without any problems. This morning I decided to change the CMOS battery. I did and the computer would not boot. I reinstalled the previous CMOS battery but now, the computer boots and it doesn't freeze on the UEFI screen, but when I select the default drive to boot Windows, it tells me to load a proper boot drive. For trouble shooting I did the following: - Changed the sata cables. - Unplugged the other HDDs and left only the SSD which has Windows installed on. - Unplugged the SSD and installed it in an enclosure, plugged with USB to my laptop and the files were all there. Is there anything else I could maybe try? I was thinking of formatting the SSD and reinstall windows, but if I can do something else it would be better. If it helps, these are my specs: Core i7-2600, 16GB ram, asus strix 1080, 750w PSU, 120GB SSD, 2tb and 500GB HDD. Windows 10 64 bit. Thanks
  3. I decided to go for the 1080 even though I will be playing at 1080p 60Hz for now. Am planning on getting a 1440p monitor early next year and then upgrade the rest of the computer.
  4. Haha ok thanks i'll give it some more thought then
  5. If I don't plan on playing any 4k games in the near future, do you think it's worth more going for the 1070 instead? since there is quite a lot of difference in price...
  6. Yes I know that for my current set up the 1080 is an over kill. But I am soon going to upgrade my whole system, I just don't want to spend a load of money at the same time So I will be upgrading my monitors as well of course.
  7. You're right my bad In regards to RAM i have 16GB DDR3, my power supply should be enough as it is 750W. The resolution for now will only be 1080p. Once I upgrade everything that's another story.
  8. Hey guys, I am going to start upgrading my system bit by bit and am going to start from the GPU. I am going to purchase a GTX 1080 Asus Strix. But I am worried as I have a core i7-2600 processor. Will this be a bottle neck for the system? Thanks!
  9. Hey Guys, have a little question: I would like to create a group policy that deploys software to users in the company so that I won't have to install them one by one on each machine. (Windows Server 2016) The current users already have all the software they need, so this GPO will be used for new users. My question is... let's say the current users have Firefox installed, if I create a GPO that will deploy the firefox.msi installer, will it reinstall firefox on their system or will it continue as usual? Thanks
  10. Thanks this seems to be the best option!! it works even for .exe files. Do you know if it is possible to create a similar script for MAC os? Thanks a lot for you help!
  11. Some of them are .msi yes, but most of them are .exe (such as Slack, Winrar etc etc...) https://gyazo.com/00b328db90033a2d6302203886d604d2
