  1. Wow! Thanks for the reply. It will be used for Photoshop and lightroom mostly. I'll have to swap some of those parts. Thank you very much!
  2. Budget (including currency): 1800.00 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Wedding / General Photography Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Brand new build Was hoping I could get some input on this build. I am planning on building this for my sister for her photography. This build will mostly be used for pictures or at most Iphone videos. Any helpful part swaps or recommendations are welcome. Thank you! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xnW8gb
  3. Yeah. That's why I was asking what a good VPN to prevent that from happening if there was someing illigal downloaded on my network.
  4. Thabks for the reply. I mean letters in the physical mailbox, from my ISP saying they noticed what I have been downloading. Not necessarily email from my ISP.
  5. I was wondering about a VPN. Essentially I sail the 7 Seas from time to time. Just don't want any letters from my ISP and don't want to worry about that. Maybe the occasional Netflix show I need to watch too. I have read lots about how they aren't doing anything for safety or privacy or its one or the other. I use 1.1.1.1 and peerblock but I just want to be sure that I can browse privately and not get any letters. Thanks in advance.
  6. Thank you. How would I connect them to my TV?
  7. Looking for recommendations for my wife. She wants headphones for the TV and for use on her phone. Looking for wireless. Budget is about 100$usd any thoughts or recommendations would be awesome. Just for TV and doing chores.
  8. I really like the on ear. But over ears could work. As long as it meets all criteria.
  9. Hello all! Thanks for tanking the time. I am looking for a new pair of headphones. I currently have Sony MDR-XB600. They are very nice and comfy however a little small on ears. I am looking for comfort and on ear headphone recommendations. Anything could help. Not looking to spend more then 150$. Please and thank you.
  10. Thanks for the info. Is there a trusted website I could browse and filter this information?
  11. I am looking to purchase a color accurate monitor. Doesn't need to be extremely high end. But something I could edit 4k pictures on and accurate. Looking for options in multiple price ranges if at all possible. Don't need "gamer" specs like high refresh rate or gsync, rgb. Just something I could use accurately Any help is appreciated.
  12. I'm using speedtest.net It is consistent with the modem, just not the router. This is what I am referring to as far as research https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/R7000-SLOW-Wired-LAN-Need-Help/td-p/1285161 Potential setting I am missing?
  13. This is an odd question and really hard to phrase for me, so I apologize in advance here. I am looking for a router that actually provides 1gig speeds on the lan port on the back of the modem. I have a gig internet connection using my modem I get very close to that 1gig speed. I am using a Nighthawk r7000 router however when I plug it in to the lan port on the back of the modem it only provides 180-250mbps. I have done some research and it is very unreliable to deliver those speeds. I am getting a new ISP and the only use a router they don't actually use a modem, so either a combo or modem separately is out of the question. Looking to spend no more than 100-140$ is possible. My new ISP will let me rent one, just don't want to pay 12$ a month. Thank you for any help or input.
