  1. I checked and it has a DP in. Ideally I could run a cable from my 480 to the motherboard, then output it through TB3. Then run that to the monitor with a built in hub. It should work with the 40Gbps cable?
  2. I have a very small desk area and the cable clutter is really annoying. My peripherals are wireless and if I were to get the ultrawide, I could stop janking two monitors. It is kind of a hassle and not the best application, but if it is possible, it would be cool. The monitor supports display from the type c as it advertises use with a laptop which I will be using.
  3. Personally, I would go for the CPU and Mobo upgrade. The current motherboard is pretty barebones and not really taking the full potential of your 7700. One issue you might run into is the Corsair cooler compatibility if it is the older version of the H60. The new RGB ones are AM4 but it is the old black one, it most likely doesn't have the bracket. I think the 1060 is okay for now but may show its age in a few years. If you are just playing at 1080p, you should be okay for med-high 60fps.
  4. Hey guys. I am planning on buying a new monitor and motherboard for my setup so that I can run everything through one cable (Thunderbolt 3). Here is a list for the specs: https://pcpartpicker.com/user/ashah5238/saved/#view=9PNz7P How would I run GPU passthrough through the motherboard's thunderbolt? Is it plug and play or are their bios things I have to change to get passthrough? Is their anything that could cause tearing or other issues with this setup? What type of cable would I need for this to work as I see there are 40Gbps and 20Gbps cables? Is this monitor compatible with Thunderbolt and can it power its native resolution over the single cable while using the two USB 3.0 ports on the back? Thank you in advance!
