Sorry to waste time, but I just dug into the bios for the 8th time and found that msi had some boost thing turned on deep down in the advanced settings. Turned that off and it seems fine now. Thanks for the reply

So I have an MSI b450 gaming plus max and ryzen 5, built this system based off of one of Linus's videos, and its been fairly good other than the overclocking. It automatically overclocks itself to 4.2 ghz and spins my cpu cooler like crazy. Ive reset the bios, reset windows, the msi command center app will change it back, but only until I put the pc to sleep. Anyone know of a Bios setting or something to turn this off?

Power, cables, connectors, and signal. Are you getting power to or from the PSU? Is the outlet or cable bad? if you have power to the PSU, is the unit outputting anything? Check ALL cables and connectors and make sure they are tightly connected. Weird question but does your power button actually work?

So my friend is trying to get some data off of a 1tb hard drive and it won't show up in disk management. I looked for some solutions online but figured that this was probably where I would get the best answer. Anyone know why it wouldn't show?

So whenever I move my mouse in any game, my framerate drops to about 2 fps in any game... different mouse does the same thing... I usually use a Logitech g502 I've tried everything and nothing works Thanks in advance

I recently swapped out my stock powersupply and my graphics card, which made my computer much more quiet. Even with just a cheap evga power supply it is way more quiet vs the stock one.

the laptop has a core i5 7300 hq with 8 gigs of ram. I am aware of PUBG's terrible optimization, but my stock dell insprion desktop with an i3 and a gtx 750 can run it better than my laptop.

I tried calling them, basically sat on hold forever while the "Agent" looked stuff up and left me hanging.

I have tried going through the NVIDIA control panel to change it and it still says that my 1050 is being used for the HDMI output, and that the IGPU is being used for the main display. I can only get 30-40 fps on PUBG, medium to low settings. I'm not sure about the power plan

My Inspiron 15 7000 series refuses to use the dedicated graphics card and instead wants to use the integrated intel HD graphics. Does anyone know how to properly fix this? i have tried many things so far and none have worked so far...
