  1. Thank you! I was thinking about a 600 or a 750. Again, thank you.
  2. Im not sure yet but something like: GTX 1080 i5 8600k some random z370 MOBO 32GB ram noctua NH-d14 some random gaming equipment some random 144hz 1440p monitor Dont even know how good it would be and if there would be any bottlenecks. Have never built a pc before and never owned one.
  3. Is the psu calculator linus recommended accurate? It told me my recommended wattage was 468 W yet it recommended a 850 w PSU. How does it work? https://outervision.com/power-supply-calculator Any help is appreciated.
  4. Thank you for the information. Im just gonna get the i5. Thanks!
  5. Im not going to play at 4k so im just gonna get the 8600k. Thanks for your comment.
  6. Im going for the 1080 probably. It should be good enough. Not like im going to play games at 4k. Thanks for the info.
  7. How big of a difference in gaming performance does the i7 8700k have compared to i5 8600k? According to userbenchmark and the tests ive seen on youtube they are very similar. I am not looking for overclocking and i wont be streaming. Edit: Ive settled for the i5 now. Thanks!
  8. I just want to get the most bang for the buck.
  9. It wont be able to fit dual fans for the cpu as it is a mini-itx(or whatever they are called) but it will have other "random" fans. To be exact it is the revolt 2 case(i know, many dont like it but dont hate pls) because it looks cool and linus gave it positive feedback. I was thinking that the liquid combined with the fan would be enough to cool the cpu which people say is not super hot. Do i need to upgrade from the 550lc? I am thinking about the H55. Any thoughts? I am looking for the one with the most bang for the buck.
  10. I am new to "hardcore" gaming and have never owned a real pc before. So as a competent person would do, I did my research. Apparently its not very hard to build a pc and you can get parts cheaply from newegg. I added the cost of all my parts and it wasn't much cheaper than the same thing from IBuyPower, it only costed about 10 dollars less. So now i can choose between the "Asetek 550LC 120mm Liquid CPU Cooler", "Corsair Hydro Series H55 120mm Liquid CPU Cooler " and the "Corsair Hydro Series H90 140mm Liquid Cooler". The H55 is a 14 dollar upgrade from the 550LC and the H90 is a 56 dollar upgrade. Wich one should i get? I am thinking about the i5 8600k cpu. If you need any information to be able to choose, please just ask. Please help
