  1. Yes that makes sense, I didn't realize I'd loose the 1TB but its still more storage than I would have otherwise but slightly faster. the reason i don't want to raid them all is that i want some form of backup drive ( the reason for buying the 4TB drive.) I'm assuming windows backup is as good as any other software for this?
  2. I have recently bought a 4TB hard drive for my backup. I already have a 3TB and a 2TB drive and was wondering it it would be sensible to raid 0 the 3TB and 2TB drives and then do a daily windows backup. would this be a safe option or is there a better way to go about this?
  3. Im wanting to connect a few more fans to my mobo without having to buy a fan header if possible. is it safe to use a 4-pin fan splitter on one header and another 4-pin splitter on another header or would this overload the motherboard. the mobo is an msi z87 g45.
  4. in the actual bios its showing as 0 RPM as well
  5. Ahhh, yes having read reviews i got the feeling corsair link wasnt too good, its a shame it worked perfectly the first day and the LED that changed with temperature was awesome. should i be worry about 72 degrees on an i5 4670k?
  6. I think i feel a slight vibration but i cant tell if that is actually the pump or something else sending the vibration. the pipes are cold and i think the radiator is slightly warm if that helps. having ran prime95 a little longer i was reaching temperatures of 72 degrees.
  7. I have just bought a corsair h100i liquid cooler after having to replace my cooler master seidon 240m. however after the second day of use the LED has stopped working but more importantly the fan pump speed is showing as 0 RPM. i have given up using the corsair link software and am just using it off the mobo, i have tried multiple headers but none seem to work. The CPU however still seems to be being cooled reading around 62 degrees under 100% load. What has happened to me being able to see the pump speed and should i really worry about it?
  8. Thanks for the replies, think I may just get a h100i to stay in the safe side
  9. Has anyone tried this before? if not what other air coolers would be suitable? ( preferably as quiet as possible)
  10. I'm having to RMA my Coolermaster Seidon 240m due to the pump buzzing and was considering replacing it with a be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3, will this fit in my case or is it too tall for it?
