Happy 2024, after a year using this laptop as thin client for remote access, the DC jack finally gave in and break apart. So I just grab some 12V PD-DC trigger module and my rework station to replace the DC jack for a extra type-c port. finally this laptop have Type-C PD in. For the laptop owner, you can dump current laptop driver with follwing power shell script: 1.Open a Power Shell as Administrator: 2."Export-WindowsDriver -Online -Destination d:\drivers" (d:\drivers as example, you can export to wherever suit you) 3.rename the folder to driver 4.download the cmd file and put to the one level above your driver folder (example your backup @ d:\driver then put the command file to d:\) 5.archive everything. Next time for installation, just run Install.cmd. it will trying to update all driver with your backup. Install.cmd

BTW, I totally forget that get a USB-C to DC wire to use USBC PD adapter could make it USBC PD-ish.

DC 12V and get a at least 2.5A . Inner postive outer negtive. 1.35mm DC jack If it is really hard to find the adapter, try those USB-C (PD) to DC wire, make sure it is 12V 1.35mm jack.

It's just upload service I‘m using. You could always ask the sales representative to provide you the driver package(YMMV if it is a reseller) but unfronatly they don't have a offical website to host it. Yup I bought one. About the type-c port, yep it is only for usb data, no PD magic (you can only charge this laptop with the dc charge port).

Guys I needs some suggestion how this situation works, I managed to get two Nvidia Tesla computational card (P40 and P100) for my 3060 rig, and I am try to do some rendering on it. However I found that it seems tesla card cannot work well with geforce card, and it seems the driver was the main issue. Do you guys know if there is any known good dirver version combination for both telas and geforce to work at the same time?

Not really since this one uses N5105, which is release in Q1'21, the thing is that DEEQ is really a ODM that doesn't care with channel they sell the product, so they actually bulk shipped to other brand and let them rebrand to boost revenue. In case anyone need to reinstall windows and struggle with drivers, I have backup my dirvers here (use EITHER one, they are same): https://www.mirrored.to/files/1GOCYIHT/DEEQN5105.7z_links https://www.mirrored.to/files/X5M8UV6I/DEEQN5105.7z_links Serial IO, I2C and I2S device is hard to install due to not really plug and play, so windows would never able to automatically detect them, unless you provide a driver inf for them to notify windows about it.

This is the best laptop for my usage. I got a render machine that works as a server, so this is the prefect machine as a remote client. And it only cost me $260.

Please just focus the discussion on enhance viewing experience and making suggestions. Nothing what I said previously means let viewer feels special, and trying not to misdirect my suggestion to some kind of threat please.

That's why I am talking about replace the outro with an generic outor and then let the player shows some thumbnails for other video or topic as the end card. So maybe that will let the outro on FP a little bit useful?

Can we have a floatplane specific outro for all the video on floatplane? 1. We don't have a dislike button on floatplane and the end card is not working on the floatplane platform also. So it is kinda annoying to hear a series "non-existed" proposal. Plus technically you can't trace people's reaction towards a video on the floatplane platform without reading the reply. 2. Floatplane specific outro could use as an announcement for floatplane exclusive event (if any) , floatplane shout or simply other videos recommendation on floatplane. I am aware there could be extra work for this request. But if making extra video is too much work. Maybe consider change the functionality of the floatplane player? Just record one generic outtor and then let the player shows some thumbnails for other video or topic as the end card?

Ever consider add intro and outro to the Floatplane exclusive clips?
