  1. Scratch it, I made a "fumble".... But this last controller has the same issue. However now I have two working so I can use both I guess.
  2. Hello, I am currently working on an issue with the Cooler Master ARGB Controller. Issue is this: I have got a controller with the ML360 AIO cooler. It should according to Cooler Master Support be able to run 3x4 fan ARGB lights, in this case mostly HALO fans and some lesser. The controller supplied with the AIO has trouble supporting more than 6 HALO fans, it starts to dim the LEDs when I try som bright colors that ofc do draw more power than colors. However this seems to be a faulty device according to Cooler Master and they have been generous enough to ship a replacement Controller not once but twice. My issue with the new Controllers got me stomped though, the first one I got seemed fine. I found it on the SW could set it up and everything but one thing was missing, it didn't have any output i could turn on! I just got the second controller and i have the same issue, it shows up fine on the computer I can set it up and everything, but still this one too has nothing on the output. In addition this Controller box has been pre testet by Cooler Master before they shipped it. Do anyone have any idea? The first Controller still works fine except from power hungry lights that dim it down due to power issues. I have tried swapping back and forth to make sure nothing is wrong, this drives me crazy.. Help me! Pleace!
  3. Well you are both correct and not I think. All the other stores have messy websites making browsing of parts more of a chore. But I always use "Prisjakt.no" to check prices and for my last build I actually ended up getting the best prices from Komplett.no. The very few parts I could get cheaper at other places got more expensive because of postal fees getting added. The tower was the only thing Komplett didn't have since thy stopped selling Lian-Li and I went for the O11D-XL. In addition I don't pay for postal fees for anything at Komplett no matter the price, it's part of the "Club" perks. More often than not when adding postal fees at other stores I usually end up getting a better or the same price at Komplett since they presumably make sure to keep pricing "competitive" at least after adding postal!. Back to the topic: We are waiting a little longer, guessing there will be a 5900X in the future instead at this point. Will make more sense given the use.
  4. In Norway, there are basically only one real store for computer parts here so pricing are sometimes expensive and at other times cheaper than we se in other countries. CPU's seems to be one of those items that are overpriced.
  5. Hello, I have just finished to set up my Lian-Li O11D XL with 7 MF120 Halo and a CM MasterFan SF360R ARGB. My problem is that this is a white and black build, so I want to be able to turn the lighting white every now and again. However it seems that the ARGB pulls to much power and instead of turning the LED's white, the color turns white for half a second before the power drops out and is dimming the color to a dirt yellow color instead. As long as I keep to a color like green, blue, red or even rainbow it wont pull to much power and the colors stay fine. White pulls to much power. Issue I am having is that the ARGB Controller that I got with the AIO cant handle more than 6 of the HALO fan before the White starts to degrade into dirt yellow. Is there any other good ARGB controllers on the market that could handle the complete load of 7 MF120 Halo, 3 120 (with the AIO) and the pump ARGB LED? I also have the Lian-Li LED strip connected but it has its own power so it does not draw much power. Preferably I would like one controller for everything but as it is now, it seems to me that I have to connect two CM ARGB controllers. Note: I want something I can use with ASUS Aurasync.
  6. Both are in stock. I9-10850k is 581USD and Ryzen7 5800X is 617USD. These are converted prices.
  7. Yes 50+ available in store... but not the 5900.
  8. Hi, My son is about to change out the mobo and cpu. At the moment he has a i5 something on a LGA-1151 motherboard. I am trying to decide what is better for his use. Between the i9-10850k and the new Ryzen7 5800x. Use is gaming, a lot of streaming and video editing with Davinci resolve. Initially i thought the new ryzen was best but after some comparison searches I became uncertain. What say you?
  9. Well that was almost too easy.... just changed which fan had the 4th pin and it worked straight away. PC nearly silent now
  10. I am actually wondering if the reading from the current fan with the 4th pin on the 3way splitter is not reading correctly making it run at max at all time. Found some random paper saying that fans should run max speed if the control signal is missing. Guess that would be my next try, just rotate the connections, to the fans to give another fan the controlling signal pin.
  11. Am I reading this incorrectly? If the PWM cycle is 20% this should not translate into either Power or Voltage but just the timing for On/Off. Meaning that if I attach a 0,1Amp fan or a 3Amp fan, controlling the speed should work regardless? As you can see from the picture above I have it marked for stopping fully at its current temperature, but it just keeps going at almost full RPM.
  12. Hmm, could it be that the speed reporting from the fan is faulty? that changing which fan it calculates the speed from could help?
  13. See min and max speed values.. is it because i am pulling less than 1amp on it?
  14. disabled it but still no standstill. actually i have a problem getting any of the fans to stop atm.. all fans are running even at 0%
  15. It is supposed according to SW to stop at less than 50C but it just keeps running at max.
  16. strange seems to be locked at top speed both from bios and SW, although i did get some results for a small amount of time it just goes straight to the top when entering windows.
  17. Fan type is CM MF120 Halo so 4pin PWM fans. I should have said initially
  18. Hey, I just filled my chassis with fans hoping to get some high static pressure at low fan speeds. However i have not bought a fan controller since i figured the MB had enough headers for my build. Problem is: I connected 3x 120mm fans on the "High Amp" fan header but trying to adjust the speed is impossible, it just stays at max speed. Anyone know the problem and how to fix it?
  19. Well build is finally finished, I decided to just forget about the load on the RGB controller since it has its own power input. Make or break! Well it went fine, probably will with added fans as well. Here is a link to my instagram and the Pictures of it: Instagram I will post some more pictures later on. I do wonder if i should get that triple fan for the bottom and a rear fan as well. Will be a lot of RGB..
  20. Well I didnt notice it the first time over but there actually was a 5way splitter cable in addition to the cm Adressable RGB LED controller. I am trying to find out what the power limit is on the device though, so that I dont fry it. Can't find any documentation that gives a number on max power (Amps). This is with the AIO. Total ARGB connections will be ten I believe. (Controller outputs 4x and 1x 5way splitter, gives 8 outputs on the controller. In adition there are 2x ARGB outputs on the MB totalling 9x ARGB outputs. Possibly another on the Lian Li case for throughput so 10 potential sockets realisticly.) Count: 1x Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB (1x ARGB on pump, 3x ARGB on fans) 2x Cooler Master MasterFan SF360R ARGB (2x ARGB @ 1,2A each) (Order 1x extra) 1x Cooler Master MasterFan SF120R ARGB (1x ARGB) (1x new for rear exhaust) 1x Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL LED strip. (1x ARGB) It is kinda important to figure out if the CM adressable RGB controller can take it though.
  21. I finally got all the parts today, so going to start building tomorrow. As I feared I didnt get all the cables needed to connect all the ARGB togheter. But as to connection and ARGB, both the Cooler Master and the lianli supports Asus ARGB so I hope it proves true and is trouble free. Going to build everything and then have a look at what I need. Also considering cable mods even though I think its a little to expensive considering what one gets. Cables are a pretty cheap thing to manufacture and 50-100bucks for a 2dollar manufacture cost cable is just plain greedy.
  22. Yea actually, I am wondering about the connections of all the ARGB fans, in regards to the RGB. The Masterliquid ML360R comes with a controller for its three fans, how do I connect everything correctly to work with the ASUS ARGB software? I am having a hard time finding out if the fans include splitters so that I can connect everything. The Lian Li case at least looks to have a splitter so that ARGB can be forwarded to the next thing in line, in addition to the case ARGB LED strip.
  23. Budget (including currency): about 3k USD Country: Norway Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: NA Setup: 1x Lian Li O11 Dynamic XL (White) 1x ASUS ROG STRIX 1000, 1000W PSU 1x ASUS ROG MAXIMUS XII HERO (WiFi) 1x ASUS GeForce RTX 3080 TUF OC GAMING 1x Intel Core i9-10900K 1x Corsair Force Series MP510 960GB M.2 SSD 1x Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR 3200MHz 32GB 1x Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB 1x Cooler Master MasterFan SF360R ARGB This is the first full build (no upgrade) I have done in years. Finally moving beyond the old CM 690 II and Corsair 750W psu that has held for 3 more or less full rounds of upgrading. My intension with the Lian Li and PSU is to have some parts that will hold for 3-4 builds down the line without need for changing it out. Also as an engineer I really love the Lian Li case design and solutions. The only thing I have not done yet: I am wondering about getting another CM SF360R ARGB and an CM SF120R ARGB to fully stock the case. Just for looks. Will post some photos later as i am still waiting for parts due to 3080 shortage.
