  1. Thanks for the replies! I guess I should have added in that this is something I will require before 2018 as my current rig has finally met its end, and I'm working with a laptop that is not up to gaming performance. I'm not against upgrading in the future and probably will, though waiting months for Coffee Lake would be awhile with no gaming (my pass time) Would it be better to do an I7 7700K with a ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero Z270 LGA1151 DDR4 DP HDMI M.2 USB 3.1 ATX Motherboard? They are both around the same price. I saw the I7 7700K runs pretty hot and since I won't be water cooling it I wasn't sure if that would be an issue. What Ram would you prefer Dizmo?
  2. Hi all, I am looking to build a new computer which I have knowledge of building, just need advice on the parts and making sure I'm getting the best bang for my buck. Below is the specs on what I am planning on buying, let me know what you would change. Price range would be $2,000-$2,500. I won't be overclocking or water-cooling the machine as of right now. But might change that later. That being said it will be used for gaming (6-8 hours a day on average) with some light youtube/netflix and low performance otherwise.
