  1. so, someone i know is selling his rampage II extreme motherboard but is claiming he had an I7 2600 working in it. how is this possible when the I7 is LGA 1155 and the board is LGA 1366??
  2. i had this issue the other day, turned out that i hadn't conncect all the cables in the back of my PSU (Corsair RM750x) and when i had double checked all the cables not only in the back of the PSU i also checked that they were plugged in on the motherboard properly. Turned out that i hadn't plugged the EPS power to the motherboard fully. Once the connector had been fully seated in the motherboard the system started up as normal. (PLEASE NOTE THAT HAD BOTH EPS POWER CABLES CONNECTED TO THE MOTHERBOARD)
  3. recently i have been having issues with some of the Microsoft services included within windows 10. i am unable to search for updates, and download any apps from the app store. when i contacted microsoft tech support about this with the error code: 0x80072f8f has anyone else had this issue lately. Microsoft clearly know about this issue but dont seem to be doing anything about it.
  4. Ryzen 5 2600x 32gb 3000mhz 10tb ironwolf pro 1tb 970evo 2 1440p 144hz monitors
  5. Is there much point in upgrading a 1070ti to rtx2080, what would the gains be like
  6. I've reapplied thermal paste and replaced thermal pads on my current gpu
  7. My current build: Gigabyte aorus pro b450 mobo R5 2600x 32gb 3200mhz ram Zotac amp extreme 1070ti Kingston SSD 10tb ironwolf pro. I am writing this post as I currently have a budget of £700 and I can't decide on what I should do to upgrade. Should I wait and buy the Ryzen 9 when released or should I stick with my current CPU and upgrade the GPU to either a 1080ti and motherboard or go with the RTX2080. Or would getting an x470 board and a second 1070ti be a viable option also.
  8. noise isn't an issue, i'm using a silent base 800 case
  9. the 2 cards both perform pretty much identically (titan will need an overclock though)
  10. Recommendations/opinions wanted: I currently have an ASUS ROG STRIX GTX1060 6gb in my computer and I have been given a GTX TITAN 6GB. So far from what I have read the TITAN will give me ALMOST identical performance (with an overclock) to what the 1060 is currently putting out. What i am asking is, what would all of you out there say would be the better gpu to run?? The GTX TITAN or the GTX 1060,or even the GTX TITAN in SLI.
