  1. I'm running Windows 10 Home and I have the latest drivers and everything. Windows is updated and the old mouse drivers have been uninstalled. The issues are: the lighting doesn't work. I have the profiles set correctly and everything, but it appears to be in breathing mode even when I've set it to a straight light, and the colours are all different even when I set them all to the same (red) on every profile. It screws up my windows sensitivity. Basically, it's a lot faster at the exact same notch than my old mouse was. DPI is all the same (400) on every profile and mouse acceleration and all those other unneeded settings are all off. My old mouse was an ASUS Gladius II RBG (or something like that). Thanks for the help! :)
  2. I've been having this problem for a month but haven't really bothered to properly sit down and try and fix it until now. Every time there's a jump-cut in a YouTube video, or every time I start and stop an audio clip, I hear a popping sound in my headphones that sounds kind of like when you unplug and replug in a 3.5mm headphone jack to a mobile phone. It also used to happen (but not anymore) just randomly when I was idle and not doing anything. Here's what I've done to try and fix it, but nothing worked: Purchased a new headset Purchased a sound card Disabled background programs like anti-virus, CAM, etc... that could be interfering Updated graphics, audio, chipset and BIOS drivers, as well as Windows Cleaned out audio jack on the motherboard with compressed air can Checked DPC latency And there might be some things I forgot. You should also note that on my first headset (the one before my new one), the popping noise was present when I plugged it into my laptop and watched youtube, so I'm wondering if it's normal and I just never noticed it before (which seems strange, since I've been using computers for a while). My specs are: Motherboard: ROG STRIX Z370-H GAMING GPU: MSI GTX 1080 Ti CPU: i7 8700K Sound Card: Creative Labs Sound Blaster Z OEM 24-bit 192kHz Headset (old): Sennheiser GAME ZERO Headset (new): HyperX Cloud Alpha Wifi Card: TP-Link Archer T9E PCI-Express x1 OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've tried absolutely everything I can think of at this point.
  3. I don't hear any crackling in Windows sound test, games, or spotify, but when I listen to this video: I hear it. I wonder if that particular frequency causes it? I have Sennheiser GAME ZEROs; are they broken? ty
  4. My 8700K is only at 64 degrees Celsius under load and my 1080ti only goes up to 70 degrees max (that ive seen). I have six case fans in my NZXT H440 all installed correctly. I live in Australia and it's around 30-40 degrees Celsius right now, so opening the window won't work. I like to have my door closed to avoid hearing noises when playing, but the air conditioning doesn't flow properly unless the door is open, and I live with my parents who say that a small fan draws too much power and costs too much". How do you cool down your room?
  5. Mine changes player all the time at random, I trouble shooted, plugged into USB 2.0 as it told me but the trouble shooter still said it would have problems.
  6. I feel the Xbox One controller's thumbsticks are quite loose compared to the 360. Would a Scuf controller with scuf thumbsticks make this better? Just wondering.
  7. I'm playing Assassin's Creed brotherhood.Had no problem on my old PC. Now, when it happens, I have to disable it in device manager and reenable while im playing, which causes a restart. Please help.
  8. Occasionally, the controller will stop working, make a sound, and then proceed to make my character run around in circles with a weird camera angle as if the thumbsticks are glitched out. The lights 1, and 4 on the Xbox button in the middle next to "start" and "back" begin to flash and forth, when previously only the first one was connected. Haven't installed any drivers, I just plugged it in. I assumed i didn't need to install anything after I built my new PC because on my old PC, I was using the same controller perfectly for over a year and a half. Re-plugging it in fixes the problem temporarily.... until it occurs again.
  9. I literally cannot find the download link. I have an MSI GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X and would like to use the gaming app to change the MSI LED colour like I did with my old MSI 1070. I don't have an optical drive bay in my NZXT H440 case, so I can't install it via the disc that came with the GPU or mobo like normal. ty
  10. I heard something about a molex cable being required, but I don't see any way to connect it to the PSU. I've already assembled everything, which means accessing the PSU to plug something else in would mean I have to unwire everything to access it.
  11. I already have a 140mm in the rear and two 140mm's on the liquid cooler. Is that enough?
  12. The front three fans are plugged into the small thing on the back of the motherboard tray which has all the ports for 3 pin connectors on it. They're still not turning on.
