  1. I have realised that I was trying to update it to wrong motherboard. I have now changed to the correct motherboard and it is still saying no image found?
  2. The manual only gives options on how to install recommended bios updates. This is an optional update. It includes no further details.
  3. So. I am trying to update my bios to support the new Ryzen 3000 CPUs. I have installed the correct bios file from asrock website for the correct motherboard and tried instant flash. The usb is not in a usb 3.0 port and is in 2.0. I have tried with multiple usb sticks and still, no image file found. Help asap please.
  4. Hello, my friend has an Asrock b450M mobo. He had a Ryzen 3 2200G but now has decided to upgrade to a new ryzen 5 2600. I warned him to update the bios but he claimed he didn't successfully update the bios. He has recently installed the new CPU and it turns on, however it does not boot or post on screen. Is there any way to update the bios while not being able to boot to bios? Or will he have to reinstall the old cpu and attempt again to update bios.
  5. So around 1 year and a bit ago, I successfully built a bit of a mid-range system at the time. My specs are as follows. CPU: Ryzen 5 1500x Memory: 2400Mhz 8gb Motherboard: Asus PRIME B350-PLUS (Supports up to 3200Mhz ram btw) GPU: Rx 580 4gb those are all the specs you really need to know. Anyway, I was thinking of upgrading my CPU to the Ryzen 7 2700. Would this be a good choice of upgrade? I wanted to do so because I would like to have a pc which is more future proofed and capable of streaming whilst still hitting great framerates due to all Ryzen supporting AM4 chipset which is a blessing. Or should I upgrade my ram beforehand. Also, what would the difference between say 16gb 2400Mhz ram and 8gb 2800Mhz ram be? Any advice as to the upgrade path I should take would be great.
  6. Hey thanks a lot, the info was really helpful
  7. This feels like a downgrade. I don't see how I will be benefit from a worse cpu. Please explain how this is better I got a 240g SSD as I can upgrade by purchasing an hdd in future when I will have more money
  8. Wow my bad guys. [Edit] Fixed link. Also I believe this build is far superior for the money.

  10. Alright. I know i’m probably posting in the wrong forum but as I dont know where to post. Here will do (appologies If I am btw). As the title suggests i’m actually looking for a budget £350-£500 Laptop that will be able to run games of low demand at 1080p low and complete simple everyday tasks. The games that will be running on it will be games like. CS:GO, Overwatch. Etc. I’m willing to turn down settings to medium on csgo and low on overwatch because overwatch is slightly more demanding. I’m sorta looking for a pc with dedicated graphics. I know it is very difficult to find one at such price point but integrated graphics will suffice if it’s able to run said titles at desired resolution. Also looking for a decent processor (something around or better than an i3 *cough* anything but a celeron *cough*) also please don’t bother commenting that there is none etc, i understand the budget is low but i’m sure there is something out there like this. Basically i’m looking for a pc at that price that will give a better experience than a console will, he has been a console gamer basically his whole life. Thanks to everyone in advance if you take time to actually look at these for me helps a bunch. Have a great day!
  11. Thanks haha. my current pc runs off a chinese psu and hasn’t given me any issues as of yet. Only it has an apu so the graphics isn’t good for playing games.
  12. If i’m just planning on storing windows on my ssd and everything else on my hdd is 120gb fine? how long roughly till i would (hypothetically) run out of vram only playing 1080p with lowering some settings to medium also can anyone link a reliable psu 500w? Thanks for all the help!
  13. @ShatteredPsycho thanks. Is there a huge difference in performance is it just the VRam?
