  1. This is exactly what I'm gonna do. try to put the card in a friends rig to see what's the issue Sorry for wasting your time Man Appreciate the response
  2. Brother, I am not running an OC on my card. just to be clear. all the test I ran were in stock settings in 3D mark in stock I got around 13576 score after that I applied a 150+ on the core clock and maxed out the power limit but again back to stock. only ran one test on oc (3D mark) rest of the results you see are on stock
  3. No I was concerned because a 3080ti gets around 18k performance scores on 3d mark and on superposition too. like a 3070 and 3070ti gets around 13-14k And I bought this card 2nd hand. SO, that's where the concern is. I'm happy with the performance I have But I'm worried if I got a defective card or not cause a difference of 13k and 18k in score is significant I think like stock fe gets around 18k easily
  4. PC Specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x RAM: 16GB 3600MHZ (Dual Channel) GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 TI XC3 Gaming PSU: Antec NeoEco 650W 80+ Bronze Dual Monitor Setup. Viewsonic xg2405 1080p, 144hz LG 22mk600, 75hz. I just got my card.I know this is a lower tier variant of this card and the scores shouldn't be that high. cause only a 2x8pin card. But it seems like the scores a bit too low.not sure what's the problemThis is running at stock (just power limit increased) The 3D Mark score I usually got was around 13.5k+ the screenshot one I was able to get with a 150+ on the core. and I know the psu isn't the recommended 750w but during benchmarks or gamingthe pc never shutdown cause of power issue. Anyone knows, if these scores are okay for this card? CPU issue? psu? monitor? or card issue?
  5. I'm reselling my old components and adding cash to buy the new rig. They have 1 year warranty left that's why a whole change.
  6. Gonna upgrade my CPU & Mobo. Currently using a Ryzen 5 3600 and a x470 Gaming Plus Max. Planning to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 5600x. Confused between Asus Rog Strix B550-F & MSI x570 Tomahawk. Confused cause in my country both are priced at $235. Asus has a better aesthetic, real good sound chip and good vrm (Tier A from LLT forum) Tomahawk has the best vrm in this price point afaik (Tier S from LTT forum) I've gone through articles, videos but still can't make up my mind. The main thing is should I buy a B550 worth $235 where I can get a real good x570 I mean idk I'm reselling my old components and adding cash to buy the new rig. They have 1 year warranty left that's why a whole change rather than a CPU swap Any help would be appreciated
  7. Yeah Ik brother. If the next generation didn't have a socket change and the CPU supported x570 then would've gone for the x570 Tomahawk. But since they going to be obsolete so buying an expensive mobo seems like a waste on my part But let's see if the B450 tomahawk max gets support and the bios is good enough then will go for that otherwise b550 is going to be my jam unless I can find a decent x570 on sale or something Also, Ik pcpp doesn't have our country (a pain I tell you)
  8. Location Bangladesh Currency BDT Budget is not yet fixed but planning on getting Ryzen 5600 and b450 Tomahawk max if they support it and it's good or a decent b550 board. Cause since the new socket is gonna come next year anyway no point in buying a high end board if I have to swap it out (that's the initial thought I have let's wait for the reviews and supported mobos I guess) just wanted to confirm the AM4 and AM5 confusion Thanks guys !
  9. Ik they gonna do that I'm talking about the cpu socket it self. if this is last generation of am4 socket then what's the point of buying a x570 or b550 am5 is gonna come next year right? so supported b450 should be okay or not? any idea
  10. I'm planning on buying the new Ryzen 5000 Series CPU. Couple of things: 01. This is the last year that AMD is going to support AM4 socket. 02. I don't plan on using PCIe 4.0 accessories or anything. So, 01. Should I buy a b450 that's going to support Ryzen 5000 with bios update? 02. Should I buy a b550 that's going to support Ryzen 5000 right out of the box? I ask this because if this is the last AM4 supported generation than would b550 or x570 support the next gen CPUs (AM5) cause if not then I'd rather save some cash with a b450. Please any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  11. Ayy thanks man appreciate the response yeah, after the GPU upgrade had a plan to upgrade the whole thing to upgrade the GPU have to buy a new PSU and the GPU itself so was just worried if the bottleneck will be too much or not
  12. Specs: CPU: Intel I5 4460 Mobo: Gigabyte H97 Gaming 3 Ram: 8GB GPU: 750Ti I know this is quite an old spec. but I want to upgrade it Though most people will say upgrade the whole RIG especially with Ryzen but I was thinking of adding 1660 Super to this rig. Will this bottleneck my CPU? I mean AFAIK it will but will the lost performance be very major? Need help guys. Thanks
  13. How much of a deal breaker will this be? I mean enough to switch to the Asus one ? or any other better option?
  14. A friend of mine is going to build a PC and is budget constrained. He's gonna buy a Ryzen 5 3600 and is looking to pair it up with a B450 Mobo. He has 2 mobos in mind. 01. ASUS ROG Strix B450-F 02. MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX Which would be better ? or any other suggestions withing the B450 line up?
