  1. Budget (including currency): 5000-5700 SEK (Swedish krona) Country: Sweden Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly just accounting programs and office programs Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): So, I was thinkg of making a office computer. I use two monitors. USB ports that are used are: mouse, keyboard, printer and a scanner, and a usb port. I was thinking of going with mini ITX Case: Fractal Design Node 304 CPU: Ryzen 3 3200G or 3400G, or with Athlon 3000G For SSD I was thinkg going with M.2 slot, 500gb or 1TB (was thinking of Kingstone A2000, maybe) As for th emotherboard I'm not sure... As I first thought of using ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING as it had a good dead, but then I found out it won't work with the CPUs I was thinking of using. Also for the PSU I have no idea what is good. Feel free to add other ideas for the build. I do have exsisting old parts: MSI Twin Frozr GTX 660 MSI B75MA-P45 and a intel CPU i5-3(something i think, not K) and a ram. So, I would only need a case and psu and a SSD. But I'm not fully sure if my CPU still works or not.
  2. Hello, I need some help. I have not upgraded my cpu or motherboard since I built my computer, which was in... 2012 i think. So I would need to change my motherboard and ram as well. But I was looking at some upgrade packages, I don't want to put that much money into it. Because i feel like I kinda can run all the games with good settings, but then again I would love to have stable fps. So my specs are: CPU - Intel i5-3470 3.20GHz GPU - ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 8GB ROG Strix OC Motherboard - MSI B75MA-P45 RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 2400MHz 16GB Was looking at upgrade packages with: Ryzen 5 2600 and i5-9400F, for they were quite cheap, but no idea which ones are good or not.
  3. Oh okay, thanks! But even if you add like water cooling? (I asume that it wont take that much power) And BitFenix Whisper M, is a good one to get? Or are there better in the same price range?
  4. Not sure, but was thinking on some upgrade package. I think moste of them usally have Asus Rog Strix Z270F Gaming Motherboard and for CPU not sure, I think maybe like i7-7700K/ i5-6600K or maybe even Ryzen 7 (have not yet read that much about ryzen)
  5. I do plan on upgrading, like new motherboard and better cpu and add water cooling, but not sure about SLI
  6. Looking at Seasonic FOCUS+ 850W Gold and BitFenix PowerSupply (PSU) Whisper M 850W 80 Plus Gold right now. They are both in the same price range for me and I can see myself to pay little extra for the long warranty that they both have and quality. (they both are about 172 USD (1400SEK) for me) I could go fot 750W, but I'm also planing on upgrading my computer soon. So maybe the extra W is safer to have. But is it worth paying that much for PSU or should I go for cheeper one?
  7. Thank you for the fast responses! So I live in Sweden and my budget is about 900SEK so ~110 USD. Specs: CPU - Intel i5-3470 3.20GHz GPU - ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 8GB ROG Strix OC RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR3 2400MHz 16GB SSD - Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB (I have one more SSD and two hard disks) Motherboard - MSI B75MA-P45 Cooling - Noctua NH-D15 CPU Case - Define R4 Black Pearl
  8. Hi, Finally made an account here after few years. So here's my first post! Yesterday I was sitting behind my computer when I found asus graphics card campaign, so I need my serial number and the...other number from the gpu. So I shut down the computer and also turned off psu. So next I opend up my computer. Didn't really touch anything, just tried to take a picture of my gpu so I could see the freaking numbers.. So finally when I got the picture, I closed the case, turned on psu and hit the power button and nothing happend. I saw the little graphics card power light turn on and dissapere right after. I re-opened my computer and checked all the cables and everything, tried switching power cable to psu. Nothing worked. So finally after I took out psu and checked if the warranty still applied (which it did not). I tested the paper clip thing and also used multimeter to check the power... But nothing, finally I opened the psu and after some testing I found out that, half of the psu is just...dead. TL;TR: PSU gave up just like that... So how the heck?! It's a Cooler Master b700 700w, about 4 years old. So how can it just give up like that? And dose anyone have a recommendations on new power supply... There are so many... Thank you for taking the time to read!
