  1. So do I trade in my motherboard for a new one or something?
  2. No, I do not. Is it my motherboard?
  3. I've recently built a computer, it was working fine for the first month but then I got around to here somehow. I was launching up a game so it didn't load, I had to end the process threw task manager because it was taking forever to shut down. I decided to start a mp3 file which was one of my music so it started up, but no music was playing. I restarted my computer and then It didn't do anything. I restarted it with the power button this time and I get an error threw my monitor "No signal" My keyboard and mouse don't light up either. My computer boots on, and I can see the power button glowing. The optical drive opens as if the computer is on, but It's as if the entire back of my computer wont work. Things I've tried? -Restarting it 33 times. -unplugging it and plugging it back in. -completely taking it apart and putting it back together. Somehow none of that worked, I'm starting to think one of the parts is broken. My computer specs? -AMD FX 6300 4.2GHZ overclocked processor -Coolermaster hyper212 evo plus CPU Cooler -MSI 970A-G43 Motherboard -Western Digital Caviar blue 1TB Hard drive -ASUS Radeon R9 270 2GB GPU -Corsair 200R Mid tower case -Corsair Builder CX500 Power supply -Asus DRW-241ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer -Win7 I'm grateful that you took your time to look into this for me. ty

    HELP?

I recently bought computer parts, put them together. everything was going fine until the heatsink, I used the amd fx 6300 processor and coolermaster hyper 212 evo, it kept sliding off and i realized it was stopping, it was halfway off the cpu but I didn't realize it. I tried to gently push it back up and the processor came out of the msi 970A-g43 motherboard, Is my motherboard okay? or my processor? I was using the thermal compound that the cooler master provided, mostly because I didn't feel like going and buying a different kind. I also looked inside the parts inside the cpu socket and they didnt look any different from before, the bottom of my cpu was fine too , I'm seriously worried about this and would love to know how much this can really harm my system?
  5. I'm going to be building a computer soon, I posted this a while back near November, I need help picking out the parts. I already have peripherals, I do however need an OS and a monitor. I'm planning on making this a gaming computer/CAD/revit, As in the title my price ranges are 800 - 920$ American money. Latest I'll be ordering is monday. Thanks in advanced.
  6. I'm building a computer when all the parts arrive. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2pmbk This is my first time building a computer and I've seen tons of people do it, I was wondering if there's anything I need to know before I build it so i don't mess up? Thank you
  7. I've decided to try this one, thank you for everyones help.
  8. I've actually used that keyboard before and I liked it, but if I had to choose a favorite brand of keyboards it would be the corsair keyboards.
  9. I like that one too, also laughed at the csgo headset, didnt really think they made csgo headsets. extremely like it.
  10. I think I really like this one.
  11. not really, any case would work.
  12. I already have a copy of windows 7
  13. Yes amd would work, USD, no, I do not have any old parts I gave the remaining ones to a friend who really needed them and had a laptop that cant handle anything, he was too poor too afford them so gave the working parts to him so he didnt have to pay that much
  14. My computer recently broke, I have a 1500$ spending limit, maybe around 30 more. I need somewhat decent specs to run Counter-strike: global offensive smoothly I don't know too much about computers so I've come here for advice on what to get, counting the monitor headset and keyboard and basically all the peripherals. My previous graphics card was nvidia gtx 650, if possible I would like a 770 or 760. thank you
