  1. Hi, I have the Asrock B450M Pro4 with the latest drivers and I can't get the NIC to stay as 1 gbps, only 100mbit. Anyone know the trick to get it to stay as 1gbps in Win10? When I run speedtest, it maxes out at 90 Mbps and I pay for 1 gig fibre. When they installed a new router the other day, it was hitting 800 Mbps, but then dropped to 90 and that's when I discovered the 100 mbps thing vs 1gbps and it just wouldnt stay. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks!
  2. Hm, I saw lots like that, but I don’t need one that can accommodate a graphics card. I need it to be narrrow so when it’s u see my desk it won’t be in the way.
  3. Hi, I recently built a mATX system with the Ryzen 2200G, SSD, 1x4tb HDD 16GB RAM and an older Corsair TX750 PSU. I need a mATX case to go with it, the slimmer the better. I don't have a graphics card, so no need for a big case (I currently have the CM 690II which is a monster). It's almost like a HTPC case will do, but they're so $ and more designed to be for HTPC use. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  4. i tried that one, it's very nice, but I still get the asleep monitor on the PC after I RDP to it. I think it's a video driver issue, I'm getting many BSOD's with different messages. I think the BSODs came after I upgraded my BIOS and left the RAM at default settings instead of the XMP Profile 1 (ryzen 2200G w/3200 DDR4). I've changed it back to XMP Profile 1, hopefully that resolves the issue (no clue if it's related)
  5. Hi, I have my main PC in the basement and I use a laptop on my main floor/upstairs. Both have Windows 10 Pro. When I RDP from the laptop to the desktop it works great, but when I go to the desktop and turn the monitor on, the monitor goes to sleep, it's like the HDMI became disabled during the RDP. Any ideas?
  6. I've never used MSI before, are they decent? Which mATX is good? Is Asrock ok? Team Vulcan RAM, is that good stuff, like Corsair?
  7. Hi, My wife won't stop complaining about how slow our current PC is and I need to "fix" it (E8400, 4GB DDR2) I only need a new CPU, motherboard and RAM. The existing parts I will reuse are the following: Corsair TX750 CM 690 II Crucial MX200 250GB SSD 4TB WD Blue Win 10 Pro 64bit I'd like to use the onboard video on the Ryzen 2200g/2400G as there is no need for a dedicated video card and those perform quite well as is. My budget is around $400 CAD I don't think I need a full ATX motherboard, so I was thinking maybe mATX, just in case I get a smaller case in the future (the CM 690 II is overkill for what I need these days). Any suggestions on what CPU, motherboard and RAM to get? Thank-you!
  8. I am also trying to decide between the 2200g and 2400g. I don't game anymore, but I'd like the option to if things change. Ignoring the Vega 8 vs 11 between the two, is there much difference for an "office use" PC?
  9. That's the procedure i followed first Should I plug in my old SSD that has win7 on it and remove my password?
  10. my Win7 account was called Home, not Steve I created another Admin account called "admin"... has the same issues.
