  1. Have any website links ? I'm really not good on where to buy the laptop. Also, I would like to buy something that is all set. I don't want to have to buy extra SSD or extra batteries. I'm buying it for a friend and he needs it ASAP
  2. I would like to buy a laptop for school. But I really have no idea what to buy. What I'm looking for: 1. Low specs, I just want it for Word/ Browsing internet / Watching movies and that's about it 2. Low budget ($200-400 CAD) 3. Buying in Canada 4. Monitor size, I'm not sure, it's not that important. But not too small. 5. I don't mind buying refurbished if it's worth it Have any recommendations?
  3. a xeon 5670 would be better than a brand new I7 or amd ryzen CPU?
  4. why would I need 24gb of ram?
  5. I currently have a RX 580 and I have also a 144hz monitor. I'm not gaming on really recent games so I dont mind not playing them at 144hz. I play "old games" like league of legends. I think I need a new CPU since mine ia getting old. (Intel I7 950). I also have a motherboard rampage extreme III. And some old rams that I bought with my Intel I7 950 back then. My question is : What CPU and motherboard should I buy? Also , should I buy RAM too? For my budget Im not so sure, it really depends
  6. I'm from Canada, forgot to mention. Also the one you linked is $300, a bit expensive. Looking more for under $250 CAD. is that possible at that price?
  7. I'm looking for a laptop or tablet under $250. Just something to watch movies and browse internet and maybe some basic work things like using Microsoft Word and stuff like that. (Not for gaming). What should I buy?
  8. I have a old computer that I want to give to a friend but it's missing a power supply. He only uses the computer for internet and basic stuff. I have an old I5 (probably second gen or something), a normal motherboard, a HDD and a AMD in the 6300 series. a 430W power supply is going to be enough? or I need 500W ? Also : Does the brand matters? I know nothing about power supply
  9. 8600k is not out yet? yes since I have a heat sink might be better to wait so I can OC it I guess And for GPU I just bought a RX 580 (new), I didn't have money for a better GPU and for monitor I'm fine with a 1080p 144hz, not really looking into a 1444p
  10. The 8400 doesn't OC like the 8600k?
  11. I already have a good heat sink. And for budget for motherboard + CPU + RAM would be probably around 500-600$ not sure
  12. So a 8600k would be a good choice?
