They both cost the exact same-though the gigabyte has a high base clock speed and (i think) better looking placement of lights. Thanks for the suggestion!

welp, its 1 AM for me so im gonna get off but im going to think about it and ill come back to let you know what im going to do. i still might go either way but ill see

i think if it would take over two months to get the 8700k it may not be worth it

Another option i see is the 8600k though i dont know how much of a downgrade that is from the 87 (probably a lot). though it would lower prices for me.
