Thanks for your suggestions everyone...and yes I did mean 1TB, my bad

I’m starting College in the new year for Computer Systems Technician. I need to bring my own laptop and a recent graduate of the course suggests having lots of ram and a fast processor. I was thinking at least 16 GB ram and an i7 processor. I won’t lie, there will probably be some gaming going on but nothing too over done and I am not a “high quality graphics” kind of guy. Also I will probably need at least 1 GB of space and will be getting an external drive as well.any suggestions where to look or any systems available to recommend? there was an NCIX near me but it recently closed its doors (I live near Ottawa).
