Did the fresh install, no joy

I've reinstalled the gpudrivers, but I'm not sure how I'd reinstall the os

Yeah I installed it, I'm just getting different errors from different games all telling me its to do with d3d11.dll I can try to get one of the error messages in its entirety if you like

No, it didn't work unfortunately. I'm now also getting screen flashes lol

I keep getting this error across all games, some work until they load, some don't even start. I have reinstalled games and tried to install directx again, but it tells me I have the latest version. I 've verified the integrity of the game files and also of my entire pc, and while the games usually have one or two files to replace, they don't work even afterwards. Really scratching my head here. Not sure if it's needed, but my system specs are: i5 4670K 16gb DDR3 GTX780 Corsair 750W PSU

So this is happening across a bunch of different games, but basically, it's like the game is constantly set to keyboard and mouse, but it will temporarily switch to controller whenever there is input from the controller. It immediately switches back to keyboard and mouse and makes things difficult as it tends to make the mouse appear in the middle of the screen.
