  1. using the windows media creator tool somehow got it to work. thank you to everyone who took the time to try and help me through this situation. It really means a lot.
  2. I tried that and it would immediately restart and open up the BIOS. I'm gonna try using a windows PC to download the ISO through windows media creation tool. Hopefully this will work.
  3. I'm not sure, but I do know that I've been able to use a USB drive formatted on a mac previously, so I'm confused as to why it's not working now
  4. yea, I downloaded the windows 10 iso image from microsoft's website
  5. so I just upgraded my PC and it posts and opens BIOS just fine, but when I put in the bootable USB it wasn't allowing me to create a partition to my wiped and formatted SSD. So I updated the BIOS drivers and then when i booted up the drive, either a syslinux error code would pop up or I would get a message saying there was no operation system to be found. It would also sometimes just reopen the BIOS. I went to Geeksquad and they said it mightve been the update I did, so i went back to the default BIOS version and now it just reopens the BIOS. P.S. the USB drives work on my mac just fine, and are registering in the BIOS.
