For the small difference I don't think it's worth paying 170 for the 8350k I'd go r5 for that budget

I'll browse for some used 980tis but if I can find any ones in budget I'll probably go 1060 keep in mind I'm only doing 1080p 60hz gaming moniter also may change to 1440p in near future but I don't play any hugely intensive games

This is almost exactly what I was looking at

The case is some random cheap one psu corsair cx600m current gpu 750ti but as I said I will be getting a 1060 6gb around the same time I will be able to get this. Willing to upgrade anything else (probably going to upgrade psu and case).

So basically, I have a 250 dollar budget and am currently on an fx-4300 (I know terrible) and I'm looking to switch to a better cpu I will be pairing it with a 1060 6gb at one point but I'm not counting that in this budget, any recomendations? I will need a motherboard, ram, and cpu. 8gb of ram and hopefully over clocking. I was thinking of an r3 1200 and overclocking it.

Nice, I have a pretty small desk too but I have a drawer. Right next to it that's just a little lower in height if I ever need to move something for more space.
