ATTWIFI's Achievements

  1. I believe bandwidth is shared so either m.2 SSD or 2 SATA drives
  2. The higher the resolution, the less important CPU cores are, and also, future compatibility is better term than "future-proof".
  3. 8 Gb is a slight bottleneck, if you turn the textures down than RAM will be fine.
  4. Most SSDs die by age, so 2d vs 3d wouldn't really be my concern
  5. Eh, I would chose Samsung for it's reputaion and 5 year warranty
  6. SSDs fail by uncorrectable errors, but most die by age, not read-write to many times
  7. What is your primary purpose of using the ssd?
  8. There is a compromise between those two though...
  9. What are you looking for? The "best" is quite biased, so get what is better for your purposes
  10. Can I have 2 separate RAID 1 arrays on one system and dual boot for isolation?
  11. For ransomware, if I just read my email and USB drives on a virtual machine, should I be safe? I assume the ransomware would only get my virtual disk, not the host disk.
  12. VMware Workstation Player 12 and VirtualBox are type 2 hypervisors, a VM runner as an application, while KVM is type 1, operating on bare metal instead of as an application. Type 1 > Type 2 in gaming performance, and 95-99% of performance can be achieved inside KVM with GPU passthrough.
  13. Go to Cooler Master's site and find PSU calculator and find the recommended power supply there.
