  2. Do you know of any way I could use a usb c to DC cord?
  3. So, my power bank can output 20v through it's USB c however when I plugged in a usb c to DC plugged device it dosent even recognize that there is a device on the other end. Does anyone know how I can force my power bank to output 20v or can I trick it to think that there is a device. Please let me know if you need any details and any help is appreciated!
  4. Totally forgot also recommend getting a SSD for the operating system/programs she uses often and a cheap hard drive for storing mass files.
  5. I would recommend getting a ryzen 2400g (has integrated graphics and since she isn't gaming she won't need more than this), 8gb of ddr4 ram, a b450 motherboard, any bronze rated power supply at or above 450w, and any atx case that she likes. This should only cost around $500 also recommend getting windows from a place like cdkeys to save a buck and for peripherals sorry I don't know that much just check Amazon reviews and pick what you like I guess. I hope this was helpful.
  6. Thank you for your answers they have been very helpful.
  7. Thank you so much for the help, and one more question why can't my laptop pull the power itself? Sorry for all the questions
  8. Like maybe taking the circuit board out of a usb c cable and soldering the positive and negatives parts to the DC plug?
  9. Makes since do you know of any way that I could trick the power bank to output 20v?
  10. My laptop uses 20v (2.25amp) and my power bank can also output 20v (2.25amp).
  11. I really like the tevo tornado for only 329 you receive a huge build volume, Bowden extruder, and AC heated bed. Plus it comes mostly put together. I don't think you can beat it for the money.
  12. Yes, I do think a SSD will help with your problem. It will definitely be faster at loading times and will allow you to do other tasks while downloading. If you want the best performance/energy efficiency I would recommend the Samsung Evo. However, those can get a little expensive. Overall i would recommend getting a SSD.
  13. Recently I have been working on a project trying to charge my laptop that has only a DC input with a usb c power bank. The power bank outputs 45 watts and I took a 20v 3amp USB c cable and soldered it to a 20v 2.25amp DC cable. However, when I plugged this into my laptop no power was drawn. Any help would be most appreciated since my laptops battery life is horrendous let me know if you need any more details.
  14. Thank you! This really helps visualize the differences between the two. Thanks for compiling it.
